MEANT TO BE TOGETHER

CHAPTER 40

ZOYA ZEESHAN AHMED - POINT OF VIEW:

I woke up in the morning when my alarm did it's job. I got off my bed and walked to my wardrobe and took out a red Salwar Kameez with simple black embroidery (traditional wear in Pakistan).

I went to the bathroom and hurriedly took a warm shower and then came out of the bathroom wearing my cloth.

I applied some make up and then wore my bracelet and watch and put on my black short heel sandals.

When, I was done, I went to the breakfast table and ate breakfast. Soon dad came and joined me.

We talked about random stuff and business and then went to our cars. He drove to office while, I drove off to my University.

I drove and soon reached the University. I went to my locker and hurriedly grabbed the books for my math's class and then started to walk towards the café to get a coffeé as there still was a half hour for the class to start.

I made my coffeé and then walked out to the park sitting there, I took out my phone and received a message from Juweria.

I opened the message of hers which read.

Hey!

I will be joining your University today, I am really excited, I can't wait!

Juweria :-)

I smiled reading her message and then replied.

Hi!

That sounds amazing, I will be waiting for you!

Zoya.

I just send her the message when, I felt someone behind me, I turned my head and the person who was standing behind me made me shocked at first but then, I calmed down.

"What now Umair?", I asked him and he came in front of me and sat down beside me.

There was silence for a moment when he finally spoke "I am sorry Zoya, I am sorry for that, I did to you" he said looking down feeling guilty for what he did.

"I am glad to see that you realised your mistake", I said truthfully but what he said next made me shocked.

"I wouldn't have realised my mistake but when you decided not to tell Zeeshan about it, I felt a little guilty but then again yesterday, I got to know that Zeeshan knew it was me but he didn't say anything to me because you wanted us to be like we were, best friends. He didn't say anything to me and when he said he just told me not to do any kind of these mistakes anymore and, I was wordless when he told me that you didn't tell him and he found out about it by himself. I am really thankful to you. The way you took everything without telling him made me respect you. Thank you and sorry once again" he completed his speech which sent me in deep thought.

He knew about it but did never mention about it because it would hurt me.

But how did he get to know about it?

Who told him about it?

Do Aahil bhai also got to know the truth?

Did Ishaan bhai tell him? No because he promised me that he won't tell anyone about it.

I was brought out of my thoughts when he spoke again "I hope you would forgive your little brother for his big mistake?" he asked and, I looked at him.

I found the guilt in his eyes so, I nodded and said, "I have the ability to forgive my little brother", I said and a smile reached his lips.

"But", I said when it slowly faded.
