(Note from Author: Sorry for horrible title and how short the chapter is, I will do my best to keep up with the chapters and so forth ^^)

The pig-tailed girl piped up,

"A cute boss! He's 17 and shes a ghost hunter with him!" I raised one of my eyebrows then crossed my arms,

"Ghost hunter?" I simply asked, getting intrigued. Mai nodded then added,

"Yes, he's the owner of the Shibuya Psychic Research company, He hunts ghosts and preforms researches to see if places are actually haunted." After she stated what he does I glanced at the other two girls, who were now swarmed with little hearts, swooning over the said hunter...which made me feel very uncomfortable. I took a step back and coughed to try and show they were making me uncomfortable, but unfortunately to no avail.

"Well, If he is really all that great at what he does, then do you mind introducing me to him? You see, I am a psychic, believe me or not, I could become a great asset to the company, plus, if it is a job, which from my understanding at this point it is, I could also use the money" I said, turning my attention to Mai who seemed awed by my sudden confession of being a psychic, but then suddenly her expression changed from awed to suspicion before I could blink,

"Oh yea? How do I know you are not lying?" She eyed me and stepped closer, causing a sweat drop on my forehead, I took another step back and replied with a slight annoyance in my voice,

"What use do I have in lying to you? I do not know you and for all I know your boss is a fake, I just want to see for myself if it is true and if so I would like to partake in your researches and hunts, for hell's sake you can even test me if need be to show I am what I say I am" I pushed my glasses up again, causing them to shine from the ceiling lights a bit. Mai took a step back still eyeing me then cleared her throat, stood straight up, and suddenly looked determined,

"Alright, If you ARE a psychic, then..." she placed her hands behind her back and stuck her tongue out before asking,

"How many fingers am i holding up?"

I couldn't, I was at lost with words,

"You....Wh-...I....How- You do know that's not what I meant by being a psychic right?!" I yelled, completely flabbergasted by her remark, she giggled at my question and nodded,

"I know, I just wanted to see if you would actually try and wanted to see if you knew the meaning of being a psychic" I twitched then sighed,

"Ohh you are so lucky I am a nice guy and don't offend TOO easily...so...can you see if i can meet him and discuss all of this?" She smiled,

"I will see what I can do, By the way what is your name?" she asked, I replied surely,

"(Y/N)"

She nodded,

"My name is Mai, we are not exactly looking for help at the moment, we have seven people as it is but I say the more the merrier! I will let you know what he says when I can, but as of now we three have got to leave" she gestured for her friends to follow her, as the other two left Mai realized her backpack was not with her, I knew it wasn't because Kevin, a student who had a tragic incident a while ago, and who had wondered into the room recently, had stolen it to play a prank on her during our conversation.

"That's strange, I know i had it earlier" she continued looking, I looked over at the front right corner of the room where Kevin was snickering and spoke,

"Stop please, she needs to go home, just return her bag, anyone else you can prank, I don't really care" Kevin stopped snickering and stood there for what felt like a good five minutes then dropped her bag next to her, causing her to shriek.

"Kya!!!" she jumped and did a kung fu like pose when one gets scared, she looked at me wide eyed,

"How did you?-" I stopped her in mid question,

"Just head home, your friends are waiting for you and we will talk more some other time" I said, grabbing her back pack and handing it to her, she nodded, not sure on what to say, took her bag and ran off.

As she ran off I heard a distinct grumbling sound, like thunder, revealing it was to storm soon, or so I thought, and walked out of the room. Taking one last look at it for the night, I shut the light off, turned my back on it, and felt the hairs on my neck stand as I walked away.
