Authors Note: Hey guys! I am so so so sorry about being gone and inactive for so long! I have been down in the dumps lately and being that along with constant work I just haven't been up to writing, my sanity and mental being has been slowly chipping away, but hopefully I can continue writing regularly! Also, I will start writing other stories as well, some romance fan fiction, some gory horror, some original pieces, so forth, so it would be a great honor if you all could read those as well when they are up! I'd really appreciate it. I would also like to thank you all for taking time out of your day to read this and giving feedback and requests for continuing it, have a wonderful day or night or evening where ever you are and I hope you enjoy the story.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW STUPID YOU ARE FOR SCREAMING LIKE THAT FROM A SPIDER?!" I yelled at the two strange people before me as my blood boiled, I didn't know why I was suddenly so angry when just a minute ago I was worried about another human being possibly being ripped to shreds, but I just couldn't help it. The red haired lady, also known as Ayako, if I heard it correctly, gave me an agitated frown and suddenly retorted,
"Hey! Watch your tone with us kid! Who do you think you are?!" Ayako clenched her fist, taking a step forward, I took a step back obviously being caught off guard. As I slowly started regaining my composure I sighed and bowed slightly, my glasses sliding down the bridge of my nose, and apologized,
"My...my apologies, I was just overwhelmed with emotion...I thought the scream I heard was of a woman being brutally murdered by a spirit, or rather, a demon" I glanced up at the woman while uttering the word, her expression changing from being pissed off to sudden shock in less than two seconds. At that moment the man supposedly named Monk chimed in,
"A demon? So, you have heard of the legend here?" He asked, a slight confused yet curious expression plastered on his face, I stood straight up once again while cocking my head to the side, after sliding my glasses back up I spoke,
"Actually, no, I haven't. I am not from around here, I am only here to investigate due to a woman being nearly killed from trying to rescue a child, or so she said. What is the legend?" I asked, now intrigued. I may not have been from this area but I have dabbled in researches and did know the forest was widly known for being assumed haunted, however I always thought it was just earth bound spirits or naive kids making up stories.Monk looked outside then at me, he crossed his arms,
"The legend is that a long time ago a man by the name of Miroshi Haruha built this place for his wife and child to basically live off the grid and have a simple yet plentiful life. However, one day their child wondered off into the woods and had gotten lost, the mother ran after him, neither one of them had returned and it was assumed that the mother and child was killed and the mother never actually found her child. That's why people hear a crying woman and even a crying child, both desperately looking for one another and even their apparitions being seen. The father was so depressed from losing his family that he eventually snapped and killed himself. They say every now and again a man can be heard freaking out and breaking things, a few teenagers who went inside the forest as a dare have even reported seeing a large guy covered in blood charging after them with an ax" He replied, almost nonchalantly
I twitched, "Well damn how do you even know that wasn't just an ax murderer?" I asked, monk looked me straight in the eyes,
"They reported that the man dissapeared just as he was on top of them, now correct me if I am wrong but last time I checked we humans couldn't do that" Ayako suddenly joined in on the chat,
"Anyway, That is why we are here, to check it out and exorcise the spirits if there really are any-" Ii cut in, absentmindedly
"There isnt..."
Ayako frowned again, "Oh? and how would you know that? not like you are a psychic" she shrugged her shoulders and held out her arms in a matter of factly type of way. I quickly turned to her,
"I actually am thank you, and Ii cannot explain it but there is not any sort of presence here, at least described in your legend, however that doesn't mean there are not any in the forest itself,I just wish I knew what attacked that lady so I can see if Ii have a chance to stop it" at that moment a low, raspy, dry like growl was heard echoeing throughout the downstairs area, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up straight, my arms and body suddenly froze and covered in goosbumps, I have never heard such a growl in my life. How is this possible though? I didn't feel anything before but now...its as multiple spirits had taken ahold.
