Sorry guys, I know the title's weird! I promise, there's no Kelena breakup! Thank for over 900 reads! Even though I haven't updated in over a week! I love you guys!

Elena's POV
I sat in my room, brushing my hair. Over the years, I had found it calmed me down when I was nervous or sad or just had any overwhelming emotion.
The date with Katherine hadn't ended well. She had told me she loved me!
I hadn't even told Stefan I loved him yet, so I didn't really know what to think.
As I kept thinking about the date, I started jerking at my hair with the brush, eventually pulling out a bit of it. Surprised my the amount I had pulled out, I put down the brush and decided to write in my diary as an alternative.
Dear Diary,
I wrote.
Katherine told me she loved me today. I don't know what to feel. I've never liked someone as much as Katherine before, but love.... That's such a strong word, and I don't know when I'll feel it, or what to do about it when I do. Katherine's felt love before, I know, but I just don't know if I do. I might sleep on it, see if maybe I can tell her how I feel tomorrow.
-Elena
I sighed and put the diary down. It was a source of comfort for me to write in it again. Maybe sleep would convince me what I should do. I turned out my light, falling into what I hoped would be a dreamless sleep.

Katherine's POV
In my hotel room, I threw one of the stupid decorative vases at the wall. It shattered into millions of little pieces.
I stared at the pieces, somehow not feeling better at all.
"What the hell were you thinking?" I said to myself, hurling yet another vase at the wall.
I had compelled everyone in the building not to worry about noise, so I was free to throw as many vases as I wanted.
I couldn't believe I had been so unbelievably dumb.
"You're Katherine freaking Pierce. You know not to tell someone you love them after 3 weeks." I muttered to myself.
The throwing was not relieving any of my anger. What I really needed to do was see Elena, but I doubted she would want to see me.
Instead, I left the hotel room, walking out to the main square. It was pitch black except for the minimal glow of the streetlights, and I squinted, trying to see through the dark.
There was a biker coming through, and I smirked.
Food.
As the biker went past me, I stopped her.
"Don't scream." I compelled her. And I bit her neck, relishing in the sweet glory of real blood again.

Elena's POV
Waking up, I had finally realized what I wanted to do. I didn't want things to be awkward with Katherine. I wanted to fix it.
I got ready and walked over to the hotel she was staying. She had probably compelled the entire building, so I walked right past the staff up to her room on the third floor.
I knocked it, nerves making my stomach tumble uncomfortably.
Katherine answered the door, and the look of surprise on her face was evident.
"Come in!" she said. I did, surveying the room as I walked towards the couch.
"I'm sorry about last night-" she started, but I refused to let her finish.
"Katherine, I think we're moving to fast." I said quickly, wanting to get that part over with.
Katherine looked away and I took her hand.
"But I still want to be with you!" I continued.
"It was stupid of me to say I loved you, anyway." Katherine said.
"It was very sweet. I'm just not ready for that yet."
She nodded.
"I understand. I think it was too fast as well." she laughed nervously.
I leaned over and gave her a peck on the lips.
"One more thing." I said, looking her right in the eyes.
"Ooh, the serious look." Katherine said. I was glad her regular demeanor was coming back.
"I want you to uncompel me so I can break up with Stefan. I want to be with you, and only you." I said.
She sighed.
"Fine. But I'm still keeping it so you won't tell our secret."

Katherine's POV
I took her face in my hands, and stared into her eyes.
"You will break up with Stefan. You will tell him that you just don't have time for a boyfriend right now. You will not spill our secret."
She nodded and I smiled.
"It's done. You can go now."
She kissed me, and grasped my hand before she left.
I listened until I could make sure she was clear out of hearing and hurriedly opened the door to the bedroom.
There was a girl covered in blood laying  on my bed. I had to dispose of the body. Elena could never find out.

Elena's POV
Walking to the Salvatore mansion, I felt at ease with what I was about to do.
I rang the doorbell, tapping my foot in an almost Katherine like way as I waited.
Stefan answered the door.
"Elena!" he said, smiling.
"Stefan, we have to break up." I said. Short and direct. To the point.
"What?"
His face changed immediately.
"I'm sorry, I just don't have time for a boyfriend anymore. We can still be friends though, right?" I said.
I almost giggled about how much I sounded like Katherine. This compelling stuff really worked.
I walked away without waiting for a response from Stefan, leaving him standing at the door.

No one's POV
Damon arrived at the mansion a few minutes after Elena left.
Stefan, in shock, still stood at the door.
"Guess what was just found, brother? A body. Completely drained of blood."
He looked at his brother then.
"What's wrong?" Damon asked.
"Elena broke up with me." Stefan responded.
"Well, it was coming."
"What?"
"I mean, she hasn't been around at all in the last few weeks. And every time  she is, she kind of avoids you. It's been happening ever since the tomb."
"Wait." Stefan said.
"She's not wearing her vervain necklace anymore."
"So?" Damon responded.
"So, after the tomb, Elena starts acting weird. And there's a dead body found, completely drained of blood. Very-"
"Katherine like." Damon said.
"But I thought she left." he continued, looking at Stefan.
"Guess she stayed long enough to compel Elena to break up with me and kill someone." Stefan said grimly.
Two brothers stood at their front door, a new danger in store.
