Hello! I'm back after my long bout of writers block, so enjoy this new chapter!

No one's POV
Three figures stood outside Bonnie Bennett's door.
Bonnie looked at them through a crack in her curtains. She had been avoiding them most of all for the past few days. They banged on the door and Bonnie didn't answer, rather curled up at the bottom of the window.
Caroline knocked again on the door, angrily.
"Bonnie! Where are you?" she called into the house.
Damon and Stefan stood behind her, scanning the windows for signs of movement.
"That's it..." Caroline muttered. Stefan and Damon looked at her, surprised, as she forced the door open with all her strength.
Bonnie, upstairs, heard the door open, and wiped her sweaty palms on her jeans. She wouldn't be able to hide from her mistake much longer.
Damon and Stefan, who had not been invited into Bonnie's house yet, could only watch and hope as Caroline sped through the house in search of Bonnie. As she ran up to Bonnie's room, Bonnie took and deep breath and stood, facing Caroline.
"Where the hell have you been?" Caroline said, staring at Bonnie.
"Look, I know what you're thinking..." Bonnie said.
"Yeah. I hope you do. Our best friend is missing and you aren't doing anything about it!" Caroline retorted.
"I'm sorry. Just let me explain." Bonnie whispered.
Caroline gestured for Bonnie to move ahead of her. Bonnie sighed and walked down the stairs, Caroline close behind.
Stefan and Damon were pissed. It was clear by the looks on their faces as Bonnie came into view.
"If it isn't the unhelpful little witch." Damon said nastily.
"Please, just hear me out." Bonnie pleaded.
She had Caroline behind her and the two Salvatores in the front of her. She had nowhere to go. Bonnie knew there was nothing to do but tell the truth, and suffer the consequences.
"A coven of witches approached me last week. They told me that having both the doppelgängers was dangerous, and they needed to be contained. They told me if I didn't help them, they would kill Elena rather than just locking her away. So I helped them."
"Do you know where they are?" Stefan asked.
Bonnie nodded solemnly.
"Lead the way, then." Caroline said, and Bonnie began to walk.

Elena's POV
I awoke in Katherine's embrace. I sighed. This was absolute bliss. The sound of her heartbeat, her steady breathing. What could be better than this?
She shifted slightly. I gazed up at her as she opened her eyes sleepily.
"Morning." I murmured.
She smiled down at me, her eyes sparkling.
I sat up, allowing her to stretch and then sit up as well, giving me a small peck on the lips.
"Last night was..." I started.
"Incredible. I know. I tend to have that effect on people." Katherine said as she started gathering her clothes off of the floor. I followed her moves, putting on my clothes one by one. As soon as I had finished zipping my soiled dress, she had me in her arms, attacking my lips with her own.
I laughed as we came up for air. Our noses touched. I stared into her eyes.
"I really like you, Elena." she said.
"I really like you too." I replied.
She closed her eyes. She seemed happy, happier than I had ever seen her in the time we had known each other.
And I was happy too. Katherine truly made me happy.

Katherine's POV
I let Elena's arms go, and she stuck her bottom lip out playfully.
"Oh, stop pouting. We have all day to do whatever we want." I told her.
At that, she smiled brightly.
"I'm fine with that."
I was about to offer her my arm for breakfast when my vampire hearing caught up on some people talking from outside the tomb. I walked to the exit of the tomb in an effort to hear whoever was there. Their voices were getting louder, and as they got closer and closer, I could faintly make out the voices of the Salvatore brothers and Elena's annoying little friends, Bonnie and Caroline.
I sped over to Elena. As much as I had enjoyed this time we spent together, I couldn't have her spilling this little secret.
I looked straight into her eyes.
"You will not tell anyone about what happened in this tomb. It is our secret."  She was officially compelled. And right on time. The foursome showed up at the tomb, looking at us, Elena bewildered and me sporting my usual smirk.
"Stefan!" Elena cried, rushing forward. I couldn't help but feel jealous as she ran up to him.
But then again, the jealous feelings were successfully covered by the hilarity of the exact same puppy dog look on Stefan and Damon's faces, one they both used to have for me.
"Can you get us out of here?" Elena asked.
Bonnie nodded.
I sat back and watched as Bonnie began the spell.
