**** Skyler's pov****
I watched my dad pace back and forward my mom sat on the couch her head in her hands, she sat up and rubbed her temples.

my dad stopped pacing he look at me and Ethan seriousness the dominant emotion on his face, "some bad things are about to go down and neither one of you are ready for it, but no matter what you see or hear we will never talk about it understood."

Ethan quickly nodded his head he got up and sat down in mom's lap, my dad's piercing brown eyes stared at me I nodded looking at the ground.

my dad then walked out of the door without a goodbye or a hint of where he was going leaving us in complete silence.
***end of flashback***
Dakota quickly shot out of his chair his eyes wide "what the hell happened out there" Dakota yelled, "Travis went ahead to meet up with this girl he and Austin traded places at border control he let his guard down and another pack burst into our territory shots fired, through the side Travis wasn't watching our best men are trying to fight them off I ran back as fast as I could.

Dakota was fuming in anger "woman and children to the safe house, any man not disabled will fight."

he looked at me sadness clear on his face. and with that Dakota and Justin where gone into the mist of moonlight headed to the gruesome scene ahead.

shouldn't I go with them I mean what if Dakota got hurt I wouldn't be able to live with my self, I felt a arm touch my shoulder Dakota's mom stared at me.

"don't go after them trust me he would rather be hurt than know that you got hurt saving him."

I watched pack members fill the yard surrounding their alpha waiting for orders.

that's when I saw him Anthony, he was standing their surrounded by wolves it was quiet for a while until Anthony starting yelling out coded orders raising his gun and firing at my pack members.

his pack launching forward coating the courtyard with blood, fur, and body parts. growls and whines pouring out of every wolf.

my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets and I was frozen in place as I watched my mate fall to the ground, someone grabbed my hand and dragged me toward the safe house but I was so blinded by rage that I ripped out of this person grasp speeding to the fight.

I have no idea what happened next because My whole body was experiencing intense pain and I was no longer in control.

       *Ethan's pov*
I don't know what to do I'm scared, I don't know where anyone is or where I am.

I tried to keep up with them as they ran but I'm not super human like them it's hard to keep up with a bunch of wolves!!!

It's freezing cold and it's dark I can hear fighting, and shooting in the distance but I'm too scared to turn around.

my legs become weak and I fall to the ground my nose running all I wanted was to be happy for once live, in a place where I'm never left behind, where my sister is happy, where my parents are, I'm probably gonna die out here in the middle of the woods on the ground like an idiot.

I closed my eyes not because I'm physically tired but because I'm mentally tired, I'm tired of being stressed, I'm tired of not knowing if I gonna die today or tomorrow.

I'm giving up on life I'm giving up on my self.

I felt a hand grab me sending electricity up my spine and making my eyes snap open, the only words that came out of my mouth was "mate."

***skyler's pov
I instantly went for Anthony everyone else following attacking the men I tackled Anthony to the ground my hear beating fast, pain shooting through my body because I was feeling Dakota's pain.

my mind was only thinking about Dakota as I dig my teeth into Anthony, Anthony was very tall and built but he was human that's why he fought with guns.

I clamped my jaws on him sinking my razor sharp canines into his flesh this feels so weird to be in this form, to take another persons life but I kept going until I tasted the metallic taste of blood in my mouth.

he probably just murdered my mate he deserves this I don't know what I bit off but whatever it was caused Anthony to go limp, and fall to the ground blood gurgling from his throat and his eyes cold and lifeless.

Jumping away from Anthony I looked around frantically Dakota!!.

Was that better 😂😂 yep I'm not dead just had a little vacation from wattpad but I'm back and I'm better picture of Delilah at the top cause I was watching scandal and I though man Olivia pope would make a good Delilah ah well how was your thank giving one thing I was thankful for was you all ☺️😚 but since Christmas is coming up I'm gonna be writing a lot today so merry Christmas or happy Hanukah
