The Man Who Stayed [Ziam AU]

Prologue.

It was a hot lunch day at school and Zayn was eating alone by the grass himself. He likes to be in the playground of their school. It was peaceful there, few people only come here.

He fixed up his lunch kit, not being able to eat the last half of his food.

I am not hungry anymore. He sighed at his thoughts. Then he just sat there on the hot ground, picking grasses then staring at them, bowing.

"Oi! Look at that boy. He's all alone." Liam told his friends, Niall and Harry, pointing at the raven-haired boy with brown eyes.

"I think he just broke up with his girlfriend." Niall laughed at what he said, so did Harry.

"Stop teasing." Liam whinged quietly.

"Hmm, Payno got a crush again?" Harry joked then Liam glared then he waved his hands in defense. "Woah, just kidding, mate! Okay, we know you're just worried."

Niall chuckled at the two boys then Liam finished his food. The brown-haired boy stood up.

"Just follow me in the canteen, I'll get some baked mac." Liam said, walking to their canteen.

I wish I can know more about him. He thought, glueing his eyes to Zayn who is walking to the loo.
