It's been forever, as Liam says, since that "hangout time" with his friends, Lyle, and Zayn.

Zayn has been ignoring everyone. Including Louis.

Liam starts to worry-- more than what he feels from the day he met Zayn. Its just foolish if he just shake the thought away that something is wrong.

Anyway, since Halloween is coming (which is still eleven weeks from now), the new principal of the school decided to make a huge party for the students, teachers, and other non-teaching personnel of the school.

Liam is still reading at the "consent paper" which has the details of the upcoming Halloween party. He's thinking of not coming since its "better to chill that night" but he's thinking of other plans.

He can't really decide since he's really procrastinating.

He looked at Zayn who is just staring at the paper blankly, his face cannot be distinguished. Liam sighed. He thought Zayn was already starting to trust him, to open his inner self a little.

Apparently, Zayn is not.

Liam sighed, contented that the bell rang already for recess.

Walking out of the door, he saw Zayn sat on the ground, people surrounding the kerfuffle.

"What, twat?! Can't fight me, eh? Weak! Simple things, tss." Ryan, the man who got Zayn bruised, walked away, so as the other people.

Liam looked at the poor boy, "Why did he do this to you?" He caressed Zayn's left cheek which has purple bruise, making Zayn whimper in pain. "Shh, come on, I'll carry you to the clinic."

"Please, L-Liam, just.. Go eat. I'm fine." Zayn managed to say but Liam just ignored him, carrying him bridal style until they got in the clinic.

They were greeted by the nurse when they are there.

"So, who did this to him?" The nurse asked as he handed Liam the ice pack-- since the boy insisted to take care of the Zayn who is currently powerless.

"Ryan Roccos, I don't know why though." Liam stated, the nurse nodded.

"He told me to sell drugs." Zayn whispered, the two gasped.

"Alright, don't worry. We'll make sure to make him suspended-- even kicked out!" The nurse said, going outside, maybe she'll tell what happened.

Liam sighed, "I can't believe that guy." He said gently putting the ice pack on Zayn's bruise.

Zayn just nodded, then the two heard a stomach's grumble.

"Sorry! Uh, I-I'm just--" Zayn immediately said, making Liam chuckle.

"It's okay, yeah? I texted Louis to bring food here." Liam uttered.

"Thank you." Zayn mumbled. "I don't know why you're always good to me."

"It's because I l--"

Suddenly, there's Louis, Niall, and Harry with foods.

"Jesus! Are you okay, Zayn?" Niall asked, sitting beside Zayn.

"Yes, it's not major." Zayn answered. "Thanks for caring though."

"You want to eat? I swear to God, I'm going to kill that Ryan!" Harry glared at nowhere, but handing Liam the food.

"He's actually hungry." Liam said, giving Zayn biscuits.

"And you are too, cause you haven't eaten yet." Zayn muttered.

"It-"

"We'll take care of him, Liam. You can eat now, you know?" Louis stated.

"Okay, just... I'll see you guys later." He said, hesitating to exit the clinic. He did anyways.

The clinic/school decided to let Zayn go home after recess. They want Zayn to rest. He was not only punched, Ryan also pushed him hard on the lockers, they will get them suspended for a week.

Of course, Liam, knowing this, thinks it's a real bullshit since, well, he cares for Zayn.

Or more like because he likes Zayn.

Indeed, being in a room without him is "boring", as Liam says. He is sat with a girl named Sophia-- who kept on flirting with him. Being the gentleman he is, responds to her and doesn't make some disgust looks or whatever that will make her feel bad. It was obvious he's disappointed though.

"So, um, are you good in History?" Sophia asked, fluttering her eyelashes. "I'm always bad at it and we have a quiz tomorrow, so you know, can ya help me?"

Liam thought of it, she looked so sad because she must be failing but he's not really good in History, neither he is bad but if Sophia really wants help, then he will.

"Alright, later yeah?" He asked.

"Okay! Thank you so much!" Sophia then written her address on a sticky note then handed it to Liam.

Liam hopes it will really be a 'study time' because he's not in any mood with flirting if it isn't Zayn he is flirting with.
