Saturdays came by so fast and I never felt so nervous, and giddy, and excited; mixed emotions, really.

"Mum! I've chose two casuals, one formal, one semi-formal, what do I choose?" I called my mum from her room. I don't know yet what should I wear so I already prepared many.

"Oh, cmon, Zayn! Your date is on an hour, love. You still have time." Mum calmed me down, "I think you should call or text him about what clothes you should wear."

I took that as a command and texted him as I was told. Minutes later, Liam was calling me. Good thing mum left the room, I feel awkward talking to Liam on the phone with my family around.

"Hel-"

"Hi, Zayn! I can't wait, oh God. Okay, um, I think just go for casual look? Comfortable? Jeans and a shirt is okay, to be honest - um, am I mumbling? I don't even know, gosh. I'm so giddy, can't really wait Zee." I giggled at Liam's response.

"Hey, cmon, thanks, I'm excited too but nervous at the same time. You should've texted it only, you know."

"I wanna hear your voice and that giggle made it even better." I smiled. "Alright, um, see you later? Hope this day's gonna be good, bye love!" He ended the call.

I smiled at my phone, staring at it for some seconds then I put my unneeded clothes on my wardrobe and cabinet again.

I took shower, fixed myself, and do the things I have to do. The hour passed so quickly, and I'm really excited.

The doorbell and my phone rang at the same time. Okay, oh God, here comes Liam.

Doniya opened the door and I just ignored the phone call, since he's already at the house.

"Oh," Liam muttered, seeing Dad, mum, and my sisters all gathered at the very opening of the house. "Nice to meet you all." He stammered, and I quietly giggled.

"Mum, girls, Liam again." I introduced him. "And Dad, Liam. My - date." I shyly said, eyeing my dad on his expression. He just smiled and stood up, walking up to Liam.

"Hi, Liam. I'm Yaser, Zayn's dad." Dad greeted him. I looked at Mum who gives me an encouraging smile.

"Hi, sir." Liam uttered, "Good afternoon."

Dad glanced at me, grinning, then back at Liam, "You going now, right? Take care of Zayn. This is his first time having a date. Get him home by 12 am, I'd be waiting. Hun, you have any comments to say to this boy Liam?"

I just smiled at his randomness of Dad, whilst Mum just let out a light laugh and shook her head. Dad nodded and I walked at the door where they were.

"Okay, Zee, take care you two. I trust you not to do anything nasty!" Dad said, then he hugged me quickly. I just laughed and nodded.

"Bye, Dad, Mum, girls! See you!" I waved at them and step out. I looked at Liam afterwards.

"How are ya?" I asked, when he opened the car door for me. He answered when we were both inside.

"That was - I- unexpected! But I'm - it's good though. Finally meeting Dad. He's cool." Liam stated, starting on the engine. I smiled at his words, but I shook the topic.

"Where are we going anyway?" I asked again.

"Oh, not trying to be stereotypical, but it's a secret." I chuckled at Liam's answer. "But do you wanna have some snack first?"

"McDonald's drive thru is fine, I guess." I said. Liam nodded, then he turned on the radio, focusing his eyes on the road after.

We got to McDo minutes later. "Hello, and welcome to McDonald's drive thru. Can I get your order?" The voice from the speaker spoke.

"I'll have fries, medium with coke and-" Liam looked at me. "I'll have hamburger and chocolate sundae?" I said.

"Okay, sir, your orders are medium fries with coke, hamburger and hot fudge sundae. Is there anything more?" Liam answered a quick no and drive off to where we could get our food.

After we argued on who's paying and after he paid (he won't let me, okay?), we got the food and Liam parked the car somewhere near a playground.

"Eat your sundae now before it fully melts." Liam says as he hands me the food. I smiled and nodded.

"Look at them," Liam stated, looking somewhere. "They're so cute. I love kids."

I looked at where he's staring at-- kids that are playing at the playground. I smiled at the scene after gulping the last bite of my burger.

"Do you like kids, Zaynie?" he asked me, drifting his look away from the children.

I just nodded, then answered, "They're just so innocent. I love how they are stubborn yet sweet. Why'd you ask?"

"I just want to have two or three of them when I grow up." He shrugged, then sighed, closing his eyes. He muttered something next but I didn't really heard it so I thought it wasn't for me.

"Okay." I simply said. "Um, are you done with your snack? I'll put the trash away."

Liam smiled, handing me the garbage and I quickly got off and put it in the nearest trash bin. I, again, went inside the car and when I sat, Liam grinned.

"Now, onto the real date." He said before driving off again.
