the boy was back in the alley, back with Tommy, back with a roll of death between his teeth, breathing in and out, hoping to die. he didn't appear to regret coming back. but he never really showed emotion. it so happened that sun was just turning orange when a girl foolishly deciding to take a shorter way home. Jonathan saw her, his dark eyes observing as she glanced around, appearing to not notice the men in the doorways. She hurried down the alley, passing Jonathan, before being intercepted by another. it was apparent that the girl sparked Jonathan's attention, but he did not move from his slouched place, simply continuing to breath in toxins and out a puff of clouds.
the interceptor was Tommy. Jonathan had already learned a few things about Tommy. he was in charge, he had a gun, and he wasn't afraid to use it. Jonathan didn't show he was afraid of the gun, but he didn't move to stop Tommy from taking the girl. she was just a girl after all. and by her cloths she wasn't even rich. Jonathan turned his back, and breathed the air in through his nose. to an outsider, he didn't appear to even hear her screams.
