it was spring when Jonathan finally gained back the weight lost in months of wandering. he had showed up on his parents doorstep, finally returning holding the hand of a girl wearing red. they had shed tears. his father turning purple with emotion. Jonathan simply smirked at them, returning to his abode, greeting his younger sister. the boy appeared to love her at least.
Jonathan and Audrey were often seen together. they wandered downtown and recalled the times they had met. one would say it was courting, but Jonathan never expressed any interest in Audrey, even if she did sometimes stare a little longer than proper at him.
but it was only natural to stare at such beauty, one wished to imprint it in mind, so it is never forgotten.
