Ari was dying. She was unconscious and her breathing was shallow. The door was opened and entered Sirius, Mad Eye, Frank, Alice and Marlene.
And Sirius thought he lost her. He was glad when he saw her breathing. But he knew she was dying and he couldn't bear it.
Lifting her off the floor and carrying her, he was thinking of the same thing : please, no. I love you. I can't lose you. It would destroy me. I would die. You're my everything. Please be alive, Ari. I love you.
He brought her home where Lily wrapped her into a blanket and spells were done on her.
When Ari woke up, she was given Potions and Sirius was sent away.
Sirius went to her at night. She was sitting in his bed, her face in her hands.
He went and wrapped his arms around her. "You're alive." He whispered. "Thank God you're okay. I love you."
She pulled away and looked at him sadly. "Sirius I'm so sorry." She cried, tears dripping from her eyes. "Sirius, I can't forgive myself for saying all that stuff. Please! I'm sorry..." She cried bitterly into her hands.
"Ari... you were Imperiused. Not your fault. I know you wouldn't say it. It's okay, love. It's okay."
The next thing cried at was Dorcas who died trying to save Ari which was very sad. She told them that it was probably Voldemort himself who killed Dorcas.
"You're staying here." Said Sirius. "with me. Till you're okay, again. Stay with me."
"I will. I'm not going anywhere."
Her friends gave her the support she needed. Sirius was always there for her, making sure she's eating and sleeping well. Remus would provide the occasional wise words. And the unconditional love and care was given by Lily and James.
Ariana was thankful for such friends. What a pity she lost each and every one of them...
