"No, Sirius! You can't leave! Come back!" She cried.

She couldn't see him in the dark but she yelled for him.

"Sirius... if you go, I'll kill myself."

This did the trick. He didn't disapparate. He walked back to where she was kneeling on the wet ground.

"Ari, you've got to understand." He pleaded. "I have to. Peter betrayed us. He's the reason they're dead."

"And if I'm dead, the only reason will be that you left me. You have no idea of how reckless you're being right now. We have a funeral to plan, Sirius. Don't do it."

He nodded, slowly and sighed.

The wedding was a quiet affair, taking place three weeks after Halloween, the day they lost their best, dearest friends.

As they went to their house, they took Harry with him.

Ari, Alice and Frank were abducted and the bloodthirsty Death Eaters tortured them.

As the Cruciatus curse was aimed at Frank for the fourteenth time, Ari lost control.

"Okay, Alice. Listen to me." She muttered. "Alice, please stop crying and listen to me if you ever want to see Neville again. Here's the plan. I'll distract them. You go get help. Now."

"Oh, stop playing around!" She said, loudly.

"What, Mudblood?" Screeched Bellatrix, lowering her wand.

"Do you really think that these fools would know about the Dark Lord's whereabouts?" She asked Bellatrix, smirking.

"Release me." She said to Bella. "Give me my wand. It's time I tell you everything."

"Release her." Bellatrix said to Barty. "Don't give her a wand."

When released, she stood up and straightened her robes.

"I know where the Dark Lord is, I am a skilled Auror and I know the secrets of apparition from Godric's Hollow." She lied.

"Tell us!" She screeched, wildly.

"I'm not spilling without a fight, darling." Laughed Ari.

Behind her, Alice fled with Frank. The Death Eaters were too busy to notice that.

"Crucio!" The curse hit her.

She had been through this. And she had realised that she was immune to the Cruciatus curse.

However, instead of hurting her veins and torturing her, the curse hit her skin and cut it.

Cuts after cuts. Curses after curses.

The pain was intense. Ari writhed on the ground, screaming. Where on earth were Alice and Frank?

And as if on cue, the doors of the chambers opened and Alice, Frank, Emmeline, Sirius, Remus, Mad Eye and Kingsley entered, to save her.
