Chapter Two

Luke's POV:

It was the next morning and I couldn't get my mind off of that Mallory girl! I don't know what it was about her, but she...she was different than other girls I've come upon around here. San Francisco girls are very beautiful, but its not beautiful I would use to describe her. Yes, she was beautiful, she was just different.

I shook my head at my thoughts, and just picked up my phone. I had saved her number last night so I could wash off the ink.

What do I do!!?

But she is still in school! I can't text her while she's in school that would be bad if she got caught.

I couldn't help myself!

L: Hey this is Luke!

M: oh hey! What's up?

L: Oh. Um, would you like to meet up somewhere after you get out of school?

M: Sure! Wherever you wanna go is good for me.

L: Meet me at the park. Where we met ;)

She didn't reply. Maybe the winky face was just a bit too much.

I frowned at my negative thoughts about her. I so hope I'm not trying to hard.

Mallory's POV:

I sat at the lunch table when I got an unknown message. It was the Luke guy. He wanted to meet up today which was absolutely fine!

I felt a glare upon me, and looked at Ashton whose hazel eyes met my brown ones.

"Who ya textin'!" He scooted close to me and stared down at my phone.

All of a sudden his smile turned into a frown.

"Who's Luke?" He asked in a sad tone.

"He's a guy I met yesterday." I felt my cheeks heat up, but why? I just met him.

There's no way I'd like him already!! I saw Ash just get up and walk away. I stared at him walk to another table and I frowned. What is up with him? Oh please tell me that he doesn't like me!!!

Me and Ash have been friends since 8th grade. There's no way that he could!! We are only friends! But I don't think for much longer...
