Unmasked, Team 7

Training results and a c-rank mission

Team 7 have been training for one month and now all of them can run on water while dodging attacks from a jonin level ninja, they have mastered some jutsus relating to their chakra natures. Their teamwork has also increased dramatically and can take kakashi down when he hasn't got the sharingan activated, however they haven't shown him their swords, as ninja must always keep a trump card up their sleeve. Their individual fighting styles have also been developed with the help of kurama (again without kakashi knowing because if he knew that a tailed beast was training them... Well it would go down hill.) 

Naruto's and Kurama's bond has increased -and with the help of his seals he was able to loosen the seal a bit though not fully because he would need the key for that- he can now summon kurama in beast and human form to some extent. Sasuke has achieved the stage Banki with his spirit sword and hellfire can be summoned in his lion form. He has also activated the sharingan thanks to Kakashi's help. Sakura now has monstrous strength and amazing healing abilities though according to Sakura she still has a long way to go. She also has developed a liking to poison, which she over coats her senbon with it.

All of team 7's weights and gravity seals has increased giving them more speed- a little faster than Gai without his 8 gates open. And because of this kakashi has been forced to train on his own again to keep up with them on speed. So overall they just lack experience, and because of this Kakashi has requested a c-rank mission as they are all qualified for one.

"So kakashi-sensei, who is our client?" asked Sakura as team 7 was walking to the Hokage's office to pick up said client. 

"I don't know, all I know is that it is a 'he' and he is a bridge builder" replied Kakashi easily. 

"From the land of waves?" Naruto asked curiously. 

"Yeah, from what I got from the Hokage. Why?" 

"Oh nothing, just thinking." Naruto lied easily 'is the Gato midget after him?' he thought worried 'Well we're strong enough, so shouldn't be that much of a problem. Hopefully.' Team 7 walked into the Hokage's office and all four dipped their heads in respect, bowing slightly. 

The Hokage and Iruka looked at Naruto in shock 'W-what happened to Naruto?' they wondered.

"Lord Hokage we have come for the client for the mission, I requested" kakashi said. 

"That was you kakashi!?!" Iruka shouted "Their genin, their not ready for a c-rank mission yet!" The said genin looked at each other before disappearing and reappearing near Iruka with their kunai (or in Sakura's case, senbon) aimed at his vital points. Iruka looked down at them in shock and they said together smugly 

"Are we ready now?" Kakashi chuckled already used to their antics. Hokage sighed, just going with it "Stand down" the genin looked at each other before lowering their weapons and walking calmly over to Kakashi. "Send him in" the Hokage ordered, a old man with a beer belly stumbled in smelling of alcohol "Drunkard" the genin stated in a matter-of-fact way. 

"Hey brats, my name is Tazuna -the master bridge builder" and genin looked at each other and laughed quietly "Well my team is escorting you to the land of waves" Kakashi stated with boredom, wanting to read his book and be done with it "Team 7" kakashi called, gaining their attention "we leave in 10 at the gates" he stated and the genin mock saluted and disappeared. Again the Hokage and Iruka stared wide eyed at him and asked "what did you do to the idiot, fangirl and emo?" the leader of team 7 struggled his shoulders "They were never there to begin with" and poofed away leaving them confused. If he was confused, they can be too, Kakashi decided.

Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke were already packed with 4 minutes spare So that guy is from the land of the waves?" Sakura asked in the Uchiha compound "Yeh and I think he has Gato after him, I mean why would you order some ninja just to take you home?" said Naruto. 

"Then why did he order a c-rank mission?" asked Sasuke 

"I heard the land of waves are poor because of Gato, so that's probably why." stated Sakura. 

"Hmmmm, well not use wondering about it now. We have accepted the mission after all" said Sasuke 

"True... then let's go" said Naruto walking to the door.

Team 7 arrived at the gates perfectly on time and waited for Kakashi to arrive, knowing he would be late "Where's your sensei?" asked Tazuna irritated. 

"He's late, don't worry this is a normal thing" said Sakura smiling.

"It's only a c-rank mission in the first place, calm down" spoke Sasuke hinting at Tazuna who flashed a guilty look, backing up the family of three's theory. Ten minutes later and kakashi arrived.

"Wow kakashi-sensei that's a record, well done we're proud of you" said Naruto actually surprised by his time keeping for the day.

Kakashi flashed a smile to the genin and said "Thank you, now let's get going."

Team 7 have been walking for about 2 hours, Naruto sensed someone following them but didn't say anything as their charka was only at about chunin level. All 4 spotted a puddle in the middle of the road and went immediately on guard. As they passed the puddle Kakashi got ripped apart and 'died', the genin payed it no mind  -seeing the lack of care his students showed, Kakashi started crying silently from a nearby tree- as they ran towards the chunin and quickly knocked them out due to their speed and teamwork. Kakashi jumped down from the tree still crying and muttering about 'disrespectful students' and the 'heartless people in the world'. Hearing everything kakashi said the students sweat dropped as Tazuna as wondering why he placed his life in this crying ninja arms. Kakashi quickly snapped out of it and looked at the bridge builder "You have some explaining to do" he stated darkly, taking hidden amusement at the sweat that appeared on the builder's brow.
