Chapter 9

    I can't believe it. My dad is going to go talk to the evil queen! He could be killed! His sister wouldn't kill him. Would she?

My thoughts were rudely interrupted by Isaac giving me a hug.

" dad will come back you know" he stated cooly as if he wasn't even scared.
I continue cooking shrimp for lunch. My dad has been gone for 5 hours and I'm starting to panic.

I turn around and look him in the eye "how do you know?"

" because our dad is no wimp he can survive he's ok Aqua." The seriousness in his eyes make me wanna believe him but I can't.

Right then my mind gets filled with my dads voice. He keeps saying " stay home, stay safe, I love you". You see my dads gift is telepathy. It'd different from my gift because I talk to animals and he can get in only mermaids minds.

I look at Isaac and see that he's getting the message too. He gives me a nod and I swim as fast as I can into my room and call Nate, Samuel, hazel, and hope on my shell phone and tell them to come here ASAP.

Within 2 mins everyone is in my living room including my mom who is crying, I am sitting next to a very protective Samuel and Nate while my brother is comforting my mom. Hazel and hope are practicing there gifts. Hope is making a small whirlpool. Hazel is moving objects with her mind.

" we have to save my dad" all eyes turn to me when I say that. "We have too, I could not live with myself if I knew my dad died and I didn't try to save him." Isaac stares at me for what seems like forever until he nods his head. "Ok we will try but if it gets too dangerous your going home".

I start swimming in circles to show my excitement! My brother is actually letting me help!

*isaac pov*

I can't believe I'm letting my lil sis help! The only reason why I'm letting her help is because we might need her Dolphins.

Soon everyone left except me and Samuel. We start to watch tailball in silence until Samuel spoke up.

" so how old are you Isaac?" He asks not looking at me. I know he's just trying to start a conversation with me but I need to get deeper information about him because I know he likes my little sister.

" I'm 20 how about you?" I say looking at him. I'm taller than him but not by much.

" I'm 17" he says still not looking at me. I'm so done with this.

" ok listen I know you like aquamarine so I need to know some things about you." I say directly. Finally he looks at me.

" ok well I have a little sister too so I understand. I'm 17 I have super strength as my gift. I play tailball and I would never hurt Aqua." He says looking at me in my eyes. I now know I can trust him. I nod my head in approval. Just then Aqua swims down the steps to go to the barn.
