22: River of Tears(Part 1)

{ Hueys POV}

I walk up to the address that Leslie gave me. I rang the doorbell and I hear yelling before the door opens.

??: open the door Bitch!

I hear sniffling in the other side of the door before a skinny girl with blonde hair opened. Then I realized it was Cindy.

Cindy: Huey!?( whispers)

Huey: Cindy. What the hell are you doing hear?( whispers as well)

Cindy: that bitch ass nigga Caesar kidnapped me, knocked me out and I woke up here. The twins are here too.

Huey: alright go wait in the car. I'm going To get the twins.

Cindy: alright be careful. ( goes to the car)

I enter the house quietly. I hear two voices talking upstairs; two males.

??: Did you get the other one?

???: Nah man I can't do that. You know how I feel about her.

??: So you know what I have to do. Right?

???: yeah I don't care just do it. Dying is better than living a lie anyway.

??:(cocks gun to ???'s head) sorry it had I be like this Caesar.

Huey: put the gun down Devin!

Devin: well isn't it daddy day care. Glad you came to join us. Come to witness your best friend here die?

Huey: what do you want?

Devin: I asked for two simple things, Cindy and Leslie. He ( points the gun to Caesars head) didn't give them to me. So now he dies.( bout to pull the trigger)

Huey: wait! Are you willing to negotiate ?

Devin: maybe, you don't have nay tricks up your sleeve now do ya?

Huey: no, just.... I'll be right back. ( runs out of the house and come back upstairs with a beautiful blonde headed girl, with rosy cheeks and tears eyes)

Devin: ( face softens) S-Stephanie?

Stephanie: it's me Dev( crying tears of joy)

Devin: ( streets crying) I thought you were dead! I saw your body you slit your throat. ( still holding the gun to Caesars head)

Stephanie: I faked it,I needed time to figure things out but I didn't want you to come looking for me, so I had to fake my death. But the good news is I found myself. ( smiles through her tears) Run away with my Devin. I have a good job, a big house, I'm enrolled in school. I started a new life and I want to finish the rest with you.

Huey: hear that Devin? Give me the twins and Caesar, and you can get Stephanie back.

Devin: But what about what he did to her huh!? It doesn't change the fact that he drove her to insanity!?! So far where she had to fake her own death!?! He doesn't deserve to live.

Stephanie: Devin forget about Caesar!!! All of that was in the past, it doesn't matter anymore, just let the twins go they're only babies, they don't deserve to be killed. Let Ceasar go, he's not relevant anymore...... Let's just be happy, you and me.

Devin: ( crys and shakes his head) okay. ( drops the gun and falls to his knees)

Stephanie:( breaks from Huey's grip and hugs Devin) awwww shhhh it's okay..... It's all gonna be okay now. ( kisses his forehead while he crys into her chest) thank you.....thank you so much! ( starts crying again)

Huey: ( smiles a genuine half smile) you're welcome. ( walks out the house with the twins in his arms as Caesar trails behind him)

~Outside~

I put a sleeping Cam and Cal in their car seats. Cindy was asleep also, probably exhausted. I fastened the twins up and closed the car door.

Caesar: look man I can ex-( GCO by a punch in the face from Huey) ahh got dammit!!!what the hell man?!

Huey: you know, I knew you were sneaky, but I never in a million years thought m best friends since diapers would actually betray me.

Caesar: Huey I( GCO)

Huey: no, let me finish, you're gonna hear this. Do you know how much destruction you've caused, to Leslie, the twins, Jasmine, Even Cindy? Jasmine almost drove herself crazy about how she thought she was a terrible mother......but it wasn't her, it was just a terrible friend.

Caesar: come on Huey I( GCO)

Huey: I don't wanna hear it Ceez. I have to get back home to my stressed out girlfriend and explain to her all the shit you've just put us through. ( gets in the car and drives off)

Damn......... Well that just happened, you know at the end Devin doesn't seem like such a bad guy, mentally and emotionally disturbed, yes. But he was acting off of years of pain soooo, yeah.

Stephanie and Devin are so pretty, Stephanie is 75%white and 25%black. Same with Devin, but yasssss. They might appear in the future again too. I like them.
