~Maddie's POV~

"So where do you want to go?" Oliver said leaning against his dresser. He looked good, and I mean good. His dark jeans were low on his hips and he had just put on his button up black shirt, making his hair tousled. I noticed water run down his neck and then I realized I weird vampy senses were going of again. Everything was magnetized...Oh shoot he's looking act cool, act cool.

"Uhmm..." I said trying to think and distract myself at the same time.

"Oliver!" I yelled in excitement, smiling at my idea of a date.

"Have you decided now?" He said chuckled, lifting off the dresser and coming closer to me.

"Swiming! I love swimming!" I said bouncing on my feet. In excitement, swimming wore me out but that's what I loved about it, I could have fun and be active at the same time! Everyone wins!

Alright. But we have to see Mrs. V.Z. first. To get something. I was getting ready to reply but that voice didn't come from his mouth. He just stood there with a freakishly handsome smirk on his face. Not moving a muscle.

"Uhmm...Oliver? I think I'm going crazy..." I trailed off, Ruby told me the voices would catch up with me sooner or later.

"No your, not sweetheart, telepathy. I can talk to you through your mind." He said the last word in my head and I shivered.

"Wha- Whaat? How does that even work??" I said studying his face for any trace of joking or playfulness.

"I'll show you later. Here, come with me we have to go get something for Mrs V.Z." He said holding his hand out for me to hold it. I happily took his hand and we took up out of his room and in a flash (literally) we were up staircases and we were in Mrs.V.Z's head quarters.

"Do we need to get sun screen or something?" I ask, it sounded silly, that vampires would have to wear sun screen, considering they could kill in seconds.

"Something like that." He flashed a grin my way and I suddenly didn't really want to question his motives.

He knocked about four time and Mrs. V.Z. open her door with a questioning look on her face.

"What is the meaning of this? The sun has already risen!" She said with curlers in her hair. I almost laughed but decided against, mostly because I didn't want her to kill me.

"Can we have the... uhm thing? She wants to go to the water park." He said smiling down at me warmly. I knees trembles, dear lord what is the meaning of this.

"Oh ha! Of course!" She ran in quickly and grabbed something, rushing back to us. Handing Oliver the bottle.

"Have fun! Oh and Maddie! Come here will you?" She said motioning me over.

She gave a look and Oliver and snapped, making him clap his hands over his ears.

I tried walking over to him but Mrs.V.Z. stopped me.

"Oh he'll be fine, I just took away his magnified hearing." She said laughing.

"Anyways," She whispered to me, even though he apparently didn't have his vampy hearing.

"I want to warn you about his, uhm, jealousy. He is a little protective. But that's what all the girls like now a days so nothing to worry about! Ta ta!" She snapped again and shut her door.Oliver shook his head and walked over to me giving her door a stare.

"I hate it when she does that." He muttered, ticked off.

"It's soo cool..." I said staring into space, zoning off. I soon snapped myself out of and Oliver smiled and grabbed my hand.
