Sade and Reagan looked at each other before stepping onto the road that drags them in like quicksand. They move quickly as possible there feet going in ankle deep each step.
"I haven't traveled like this in a while, even with my job." Ash says slightly nervous.
"What job?" Sade asks continuing to move forward ignoring her hunger.
"I'm a Finder. I find things that have crossed over from the living world." Ash says.
"That sounds cool but what do you do just sit around people waiting for them to die?" Sade asks with annoyance.
"No I wait for accidents. I'm one of her best Finders I just don't work as hard." Ash says shrugging his shoulders.
A car rushes down the street and Sade freezes the car running through her. Sade makes a disgusted face pulling herself out of the road.
"I feel violated." Sade says making a weird face as another car passes through her.
"You'll get used to it." Ash says walking like normal as a car passes through him.
Reagan slows down a bit each time a car passes through her.
"C'mon Reagan! You don't want to sink do you?!" Sade shouts helping out her sinking friend.
"Stop worrying it probably wouldn't be that bad." Reagan says unfazed.
"I wouldn't say that. Its said you sink to the Earth's core waiting for it to explode before floating around space." Ash says.
"How do you know? It could be a tale, I want solid facts." Sade says.
"Stubborn aren't you?" Ash asks smirking.
"No, no I'm not." Sade growls defensively.
Reagan decided not to enter this debate only listen.
"That just proves your stubborn." Ash says sighing.
"I am not stubborn." Sade repeats feeling her anger rise.
"Look believe in whatever you want to believe, but its best to not find out the hard way." Ash says.
"I don't know about that reasoning. Did you get that from your own lessons of trial and error or no?" Sade asks seriously.
"Most of it." Ash says.
"How much is most?!" Sade shouts exasperated.
"Why are you asking so many questions?" Ash asks running his fingers through his hair.
"Cause I'm in a place I don't know with a stranger claiming me and my friend are dead!" Sade shouts trying to make sense of everything.
"I didn't say you were dead! I said we didn't find the light so we're stuck between life and death!" Ash shouts.
"So we're dead!" Reagan and Sade shout.
"No! We're like ghosts or phantoms maybe even souls." Ash says with hesitation.
"It still means we're dead! D-E-A-D! Dead." Sade says.
"How are souls dead?!" Ash asks.
"There the essense or being of something that was once alive." Sade says.
"Your suppose to be answering our questions." Reagan says patting Sade's head.
"Well ask questions and stop being so stubborn and debating with me." Ash says.
Sade snaps her head towards Ash glaring at him from under her hood.
"Your masked gaze can't hurt me." Ash smirks walking ahead slightly.
Sade goes to say something but us stopped by the increase of traffic.
"This makes me feel like I'm gonna puke but wait Afterlights don't do that either do they?!" Sade shouts finally understanding fully what's happening.
Reagan facepalms and sighs.
"This is gonna be a long trip." Reagan says annoyed.
