Everlost with a spin

Chapter 4

Ash was talking away about Everlost and the Queen of Snots but Sade was barely listening.

"You know I think you'd like your new home in Everlost." Ash says catching Sade's attention for a short moment.

"I highly doubt that." Sade says before wondering about her family. What would they think of there only daughter dying from a dumb decision and a car?

"You okay?" Reagan asks

"As good as I'll ever be." Sade mumbled pulling on the cord stuck in between her teeth.

"Old habits die hard." Reagan says trying to lighten the awkwardness.

"Not funny." Sade glares at her friend.

"Sorry." Reagan says throwing her hands up.

Sade made fists at her side angry about all that happened in a short amount of time. She started thinking about her life when she was still alive and grits her teeth.

Reagan notices Sade's anger and is honestly pretty worried about her.

"Reagan you think we can do whatever we want here? Maybe even become anything we want." Sade says smirking.

"Yes, you can." Ash says interrupting the conversation.

Sade smirks making Ash shudder. She punches Ash in the face making him stumble backwards but not exactly yell out from pain.

"What was that for?" Ash asks angrily.

"You said we can do anything we want so I'm doing it." Sade said her smirk turning into a smug smile.

Reagan glanced at Sade. "Beat him up later he's leading us to the Queen of Snots." She says.

"I can lead us there, you have to remember were in the south it will probably take forever anyway." Sade says starting to walk so she doesn't sink to far.

Ash struggles to pull himself out and asks for help. Sade glances at him and starts to walk away.

Reagan glances at Ash then walks away following Sade.

"Are you serious help me!" Ash screams squirming.

Sade ignores Ash thinking to herself I'm not going to be the old me I'm a new person now.

Reagan drowned out his screaming from the music and bass in the cars driving through them. Does Sade not feel any sympathy for Ash? Reagan thinks the screaming suddenly muffled from him starting his sinking process to the center of the Earth.

"Bye bye Ash." Sade mumbles walking backwards.

"What's wrong with you?!" Reagan yells shaking Sade.

"What's wrong? Nothing, nothing at all just changing my image. Not gonna be the sensitive push over." Sade says with a sickening smirk.

"What do you mean you held in your emotions most of the time." Reagan says ready to slap her friend.

"Ah but I've cracked once to many times so nows the time to change it." Sade says slapping Reagan on the back.

Reagan flinches even though she can't feel the painful sting that usually follows after.

"You buddy you should stay the way you are but I'm changing myself." Sade says a few sharp teeth poking out of her mouth.

Reagan waves a hand in front of her own face to make sure she's seeing that. "Yeah that's fine." Reagan says trying to ignore the canine like teeth poking out of Sade's mouth in her bright smile.
