Blair felt an odd comfort around the tall male. Something about him felt familiar, and she wasn't sure why. The warmth that flooded her body when he appeared earlier that day made her feel like she had known him for years.

She was still confused as to where they were and why she was with them, and really just confused about her whole day thus far. Harry sensed her confusion and swiftly extended his hand to her, hoping she would take it.

Upon realising what he wanted, her heart sped up, and she hesitantly placed her small hand into his much larger one watching as he intertwined their fingers. Harry gently tugged her forwards by her hand, leading her through the last bit of dense forest.

Stepping through the trees, a large inhale was taken through her pink lips. Her eyes widened as she took in the large estate in front of her. Right there in the middle of a well-maintained garden was a three-story mansion. The tall building had white rendered walls with vines growing up some of the corners. Round stairs led up to the grand entranceway, and much of the house was made up of windows. It looked like a mix of new and old architecture, and she was utterly in awe of its beauty.

A faint exclamation slipped past her lips, causing Harry to smile as he looked down at her. For a moment he had feared she didn't like it as she stood there silently, but now he knows it was the opposite of that.

"You – you live here?" she questioned him, watching him nod as he smiled and replied, "you could too if you wanted to". He made it seem so casual, so smooth, he was hoping she would quietly agree, and that would be the end of it.

"What? Why would I live here? I have my own place in the city; besides I don't even know you guys". Harry sucked in a breath as he realised it was not going to be as easy as he had hoped.

"Would you consider it if I told you that you were in danger and this is the only place that you'll be safe?" he asked whilst looking down, her eyebrows crinkled in confusion, humour dancing in her eyes as she nodded briefly, "Well then, you're in danger, and this is the only place you'll be safe" he finalised with a nod to support his argument.

A small smirk made its way onto his mouth as Blair let out a giggle at his awful attempts at persuading her. "Yeah, still not happening," she said as she shook her head and turned around, heading back into the woods.

"Wait, where are you going?" Harry asked her quickly, almost appearing panicked as he caught up with her.

"Home," she said as if it was the simplest thing in the world. Perhaps to other people, it was but not for Harry. His chest tightened at the thought of her leaving him, and he became frantic.

"But I'm serious, you're in danger", Blair sighed as she turned to look at him, "Look, Harry, I appreciate you swooping in and saving me today, but I am sure it was just a once-off situation that will never happen again". Blair wasn't sure if she was trying to convince herself or Harry. Her whole afternoon had made her uneasy, and she wasn't sure if she believed the words that she was speaking.

"The man today was targeting you to get to me" Harry sighed waiting for her to reply, "all the more reason for me to go home then I would say" she rebutted.

Harry shook his head, stepping towards her "that did not stop him today, no matter where you go, he will find you. We can keep you safe here though" he sounded desperate and defeated, but she still shook her head in refusal.

"But he is doing this because of you. Why?" He sighed and looked down. He so desperately wanted the other boys to stop being bystanders and to help him convince her. He didn't want to answer this question. "It goes way back, something happened, and he blames me for it, and he wants revenge. But we can keep you safe here, I promise" he says, answering without really answering.

"How, how can you keep me safe?" she questioned him, her tone was challenging, and he knew she expected an answer, "we have certain skills, strengths if you will" he replied skirting around the truth that he was avoiding explaining. She looked frustrated, and he didn't blame her. He was saying everything and nothing all at once, and it was infuriating.

"Harry, mate, stop teasing her and just tell her what she needs to know" Louis spoke up from in the background. A low growl erupted from his chest at this instruction. Louis knew how he felt about divulging this information to her.

Blair held an expectant look as if anything Harry had to say would make her stay and challenging him to say it. "Look, it's late, lets just go inside, we can get to know each other, you can stay the night and if in the morning you still don't want to stay then we can discuss it some more" Harry spoke with finality, and part of her knew that there was no room for argument.

"Look, I just don't get why you brought me here in the first place!" she said exasperated. Harry looked at her as if she had grown a second head. Wasn't it obvious why? Never in a million years did he think she would be this stubborn when it came to him, but he should have known better. "To protect you of course" Harry replied as if it was apparent.

She let out a groan before starting to walk back to the house, silently agreeing to stay the night. As she walked towards the house, she felt that uncomfortable feeling rise up in her stomach again. Her shoulders involuntarily tensed and rose higher, and her feet stopped moving. She looked around quickly but didn't see anything. The four boys walked ahead of her, not noticing her sudden shift; however, Harry instantly spotted her change in composure and stopped his steps behind her.

"What's wrong?" he asked, following her gaze and looking into the dense trees that surrounded his property. "Probably nothing, but something doesn't feel right" she shook her head as if she was stupid before regaining composure and taking a few more steps before suddenly stopping again.

Suddenly her shoulders tensed, and her arms raised protectively. Her legs splitting lightly so she could bend her knees to gain more stability as the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. She looked around, and her guarded position put Harry on edge as he slowly took a few steps back from her to see what would happen.

Blair suddenly squealed and ducked just in time as a giant wolf lunged at her. The creature was large and had light, almost golden fur with glowing golden eyes. It turned around and bared its teeth at her, angry that its target had dodged its attack. It was about to lunge for a second time, and she knew she wasn't going to get lucky again. Suddenly, as the wolf jumped into the air, it was knocked to the ground. Harry had tackled the large dog and had it restrained. Blair watched on in shock as Harry seemed to overpower the creature before opening his mouth and hissing. It was then that Blair noticed something. Perhaps this was what he meant when he said they had specific skills and strengths. All she knew was that the boy Infront of her is sitting on top of a wolf with fangs on full display.
