"Miss!" I yawned.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the one being called. Who would refer me as miss?-people here refer me as "The Ice Princess".

I continued walking. I was so appalled when I felt someone hugging my back. I turned around to face her-yes, she's a girl. I removed her hand away from me then I stared at her from head-to-toe.

I know it may seem intimidating, but I already got used to it, so you better deal with that.

She's short, pretty, skinny and pale. She looks like someone I know-but I really can't pinpoint who. My eyes met her pair of dark brown eyes. Strange.

She's smiling from ear-to-ear. What does she want? She should've just called me by my name hindi yung yayakapin niya pa ako.

Hindi kaya ex 'to ni Zeke? She might be planning something against me.

I almost forgot-my dad taught me self-defense. I should know how to handle this kind of situation. I smirked.

"I want to be your friend" ha?

I froze for a moment. My mind didn't seem to process what she just said. Ano kayang catch? I smirked, hindi kaya ginagawa lang niya ito because she wants me to do her homework?

Clearly, I have no friends. People think that I'm no fun-and they're actually right because my life is boring.

My life is sad, but I can't do anything about it. This is part of the consequences when I chose to change myself- when I chose to not care about everything.

Another reason why I don't have any friends is because I shut people out-they're user friendly. Lalapit lang kapag may kailangan sila.

Isang beses lang ako nagkaroon ng kaibigan, but he chose to leave me.

Now, how would I believe that this innocent-looking creature infront of me wants to be my friend? What makes her different among all those people?

"I'm Zerena!" She said sabay lahad nung kamay niya. I just stared at her hand then passed by her. I don't know what has gotten into me, but I suddenly refrained from walking.

"Aya Soriano" I blurted without looking at her.

"Ate idol! friends na tayo ah?" I could imagine her smiling right now. I just shrugged then i continued walking.

Finally! Friends na kami! Kulang na lang e, magsisigaw pa ako sa tuwa. I've wanted her to be my friend since the first time I saw her. Una pa lang kaming nagkita parang ang gaan na ng loob ko sa kanya- I don't know how that is possible, but I really felt that way towards her.

She's so nice and pretty-I can't deny the fact that I admire her so much.

Una ko siyang nakita sa field. It was our first day of class-recess time. She was sleeping sa ilalim ng puno habang nakapasak sa magkabilang tenga yung earphones niya. I could still remember like it was yesterday. Hinahabol-habol pa ako ni Justin Lopez nun.

"ANO BA STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I shouted at the annoying guy infront of me. Is he a stalker? He's been following me around like a love-sick puppy.
