"Hi Sir, I'm Justin Warren Lopez your future son-in-law." I facepalmed myself. Justin introduced himself to papa. I couldn't see any hint of nervousness on his face. He's still smiling widely.

He took me home, pero 'di ko inexpect na haharapin niya si papa and besides, why would he do that-we're not dating. He lent a hand, but papa's still not touching him.

I just hope na paalisin na siya ni papa.

Papa's forehead knotted and he looked at Justin from head-to-toe. "Anak, boyfriend mo?"

"Hindi PA po sir" Inunahan niya akong sumagot. Papa's expression turned into a smile then they shook hands. It's telling me that it's is a bad sign- how could my dad like Justin?

"I really love your daughter sir and I'm willing to prove mysel-" Papa chuckled. He even patted Justin's back.

"I like you for my daughter." I just shook my head in disapproval. Even if Papa would agree, I wouldn't. I've already imagined a future with none other than the love of my life-Christian. I giggled.

"Do you also like Justin, iha?"

"Of course not" I retorted hysterically. I saw Justin pout.

"Don't worry sir, your daughter is still confused. I'll make her realize that I'm the perfect guy for her." He winked at me. Tell me, anong ginawa niya kay Papa para magustuhan siya nito?

"Where's your mom, baby doll? Ipakilala mo naman ako." I bit my lip. Eventhough I've convinced myself that mom is just out there watching over me, I still long for her every now and then. Papa and I stood silent for about 5 seconds.

Papa heaved out a sigh. "Zerena's mom died already. 5 years old pa lamang siya nang iwan siya nito." Justin's face turned pale.

"S-sorry h-hindi ko po sinasadyang magtanong."

"It's alright. Hindi mo naman alam." I turned to Papa-he looks so gloomy. Gaya ko, miss na rin siguro niya ang mommy ko. Matalik kasi silang magkaibigan. Yes, you read it right- they're just friends, and nothing more than that.

"Justin bakit hindi mo yayain lumabas si Zerena? Just promise me to bring her home before 10. Understood?" My eyes widened when I realized what Papa was talking about. How could he just give me away like that? He just met Justin.  How could he trust someone he just met? What if something bad happens to me?

"Paa!!!" I glared at him. He just smiled then he waved his hand at us. Parang pinalalayas na niya kami.

"Bye sir!" Justin pulled me closer to him then he slung his arm around my shoulder. We walked out of the house.

"Where are you taking me?" I removed his filthy arm off me.

"I don't know, baby doll."

I looked at the address then I looked at the huge house in front of me. It's been days since I found out about dad's address, pero ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng lakas para harapin siya.

I feel so d@mn nervous, yet excited because I'm going to see my dad again. I wonder what his reaction will be when he sees me.

My stomach turned. What if he doesn't accept me? What if he doesn't recognize me? I closed my eyes to remove the thought. I'm his best pal! Of course he would accept and recognize me.
