This was it. I finally had a normal life. There were no problems or anything bad happening. It felt like everything was perfect, even though it's all far from that.

Let's catch you up on things. So far, the band has become pretty successful. And by 'successful', I mean that their few songs have become popular throughout our little town. I mean, it's only been 4 months since they started, and they've been doing pretty well.

Ryan and Jess are doing great. Ryan has little breakdowns here and there, but he always has Jess to calm him down. Jon and Cassie are probably the cutest couple I've ever seen. Spencer is still alone, but he and Sean get along perfectly.

Who am I missing? Oh, right. Brendon. Well, I don't know. He's just been.. perfect. He's the person I trust the most. I just don't know what I'd do without him.

Yeah, I'm getting mushy. But, y'know, people change. And I can't help it. Good things really do come to people. We just have to know what those good things are.

I checked my watch. "Shouldn't Ryan be coming?" The whole gang was sitting at a table in some fast-food place.

"Yeah, he should have been here around an hour ago," Jess, who was constantly staring at the door, pointed out to us. "Do you think he's okay?"

As if on cue, Ryan rushed in, nearly dropping his laptop. "Sorry, guys. I was busy." He took a seat next to Jess, opening his laptop and typing. "You're not gonna believe what happened today."

"We might believe it if you'd tell us already," Brendon irritably said as Ryan continued typing for awhile. "Maybe if you'd stop being such a geek, we could all spend some quality time with each other."

Jon chuckled to himself. "We only have about a week of school left. I don't think we need to-"

"Got it!" Ryan interrupted. "Gather around children. And be amazed!" We all got up from our seats and looked over Ryan at the laptop.

"So you trashed Pete Wentz's band. How is this supposed to be exciting?" Jess asked Ryan. "And, for your information, Fall Out Boy is amazing."

"You do know that those band members read these comments and posts, right?" Spencer, who wasn't really paying attention, told us. "What if he gets his feelings hurt or something?"

Ryan sighed and rolled his eyes. "Did any of you even read his reply?"

Sean, who was shorter than us all, stood behind everyone and couldn't see the screen. "Maybe if some of you guys could move, I could see what it says."

"Ryan just said Fall Out Boy's music was shit compared to Panic! at the Disco's music. And then he posted a link to his MySpace account where he posted all the songs." I kept reading, trying to find more useful information, and finally got to Pete's reply. "And Pete replied to him today saying that he liked Panic!'s songs, and he'd like the hear them play live-"

We all froze. This band might actually have a chance at being something big.

"He's coming in a few hours, since he's already in Vegas and he's leaving tonight. So we have to go get ready and practice and-" Ryan started going on and on about what they need to do.

Jess covered his mouth. "How about instead of talking about what you need to do, you get to your house and start getting everything ready?" Without another thought, the four guys began packing their things to leave.
