This is going to be a short chapter because I haven't written anything in a while.
Okay, the class is currently getting over an obsession with the game Grounders. If you don't know it, search it up on Urban Dictionary, or whatever.
Anyways, we go to the elementary school's playground. That school is behind our school and we get there after the elementary kids go inside after their lunch period is over. We still go there even if we don't play grounders, but they have this net thing there you climb up to and we sit up there and play pathetic games of Truth or Dare. They really just become Truth or Truth because everyone is just too lazy to get down and honestly, we're all horrible at coming up with dares.
We're pretty bad at coming up with truths too. It mostly centers around "Who do you have a crush on?" or "Would you _____ with/for _____?" Yeah, it's pretty bad.
And the dares are all "Go hug that kid over there" who we know will end up running away because we know them and they only associate with a few people.
By the way, the majority of the boys in the AC class in the grade below us have a sort of obsession with Norman. They all idolize him and it's the creepiest thing ever. They're all like "Mr. Norman!" and fight over sitting next to him and always want to hang out with him at lunch and stuff. Then there's the rest of us where the majority of us have known him for at least four years and he's just a nerd who used to have long hair who likes Jessica. Well, there's more than that, but none of us would EVER call him "Mr. Norman." Just... no. Not going to go there.
But the rest of the time we go up and sit on that web and eat our lunches and talk. Or rant really, about people. Like about those guys who idolize Norman or possible relationships.
Jessica and Norman danced at the dance on Thursday night. And Elizabeth and Justin. And Dakota danced with someone too (have we ever mentioned her?). I don't know if anyone ever mentioned all of that stuff. DAKOTA CAME TO THE DANCE. LOVE YOUU.
Anyways, this is kind of a really short chapter and it's gone completely off topic. I'm working on a longer, better one right now, I swear. The point is, it's easy for me to get off topic, and we waste our lunch hours. Hence the title of the chapter.
