8- Fred, George?

Hey guys! I'm not sure why but I'm really looking forward to writing this one, I hope you enjoy it! Please leave a comment telling me what you think of the "Fred or George" one shot, it would mean a lot x

You and your boyfriend Fred Weasley had been dating for just over a year, it was a happy, fun filled relationship with no problems; well there was one. Fred has a twin brother called George, you got on well with both of the twins but the problem is, you can't tell them apart! Both the same height, with bright red hair and the same crazy sense of humor. This wouldn't usually be a terribly bad thing but when it comes to working out which one is your boyfriend it's disastrous. Here's what happened:

Your parents had left you at Hogwarts over Christmas as they usually do, this wasn't a problem though as you enjoyed it there. All of your friends were there: George, Ron and Ginny Weasley, Harry and Hermione. You could have fun around the school, rules still applied but all the teachers were a little more lenient on what you could and couldn't do. Hogsmead was open to students as long as permission was granted by parents, this is always fun as nothing is better than sitting round a table with a steaming Butterbeer in hand (only this was a problem for you, as you wear glasses).

On Christmas Eve the Trio, Fred, George, Ginny and yourself were gathered around the blazing fire in the Gryffindor common room. Fred and George had managed to find a huge bag of marshmallows God knows where; at first, no one dared to take one in case the twins has russelled up a nasty shock for whoever ate one. Eventually, Ron decided that he would be the one to test the sweet treats. He plunged his fingers into the bag and grabbed a clump containing about 5 of the marshmallows, he then picked off one of them and placed it onto the tip of his tongue. The reaction was almost instant. Immediately Ron's mouth began to foam, bucket loads of pink bubbles fell onto the floor. As soon as they touched the ground they crystallized and formed a pile of what looked like sugar. "I knew i shouldn't of eaten any of them." Ron tried to say but the clump of foam that seemed to stick to the inside of his mouth stopped him from being able to form any coherent words.

So far the night had been going well, piles of food were getting demolished by the hungry kids and everyone was having a laugh and joke with each other. After about two hours of non stop partying and games everyone came to a stand still, people were running low on anything interesting to chat about and it was getting dark. "I'm really tired, I think I'm going to go to bed." You announce. A chorus of 'goodnights' were heard and off you went to your bed. Just as you were about to drift off to sleep the door creaked open, spooking you slightly. "It's only me," your boyfriend Fred spoke "I'm just coming to say a proper goodnight." With that he gave you a short but sweet kiss, you loved how gentle he was when it came to things like this. But something wasn't right. You'd been with Fred long enough to know it was definitely not him who has just kissed you, he didn't smell, feel or hold you quite the same. Quickly, you shot up. "Who are you!" You practically screamed. "Um, I'm so sorry," the stranger began to speak "it's George."

Maybe this wasn't a stranger after all. "Why the heck are you in my room kissing me?" You questioned. "I've liked you for a long time, I've always dreamt about holding you in my arms and being able to kiss you just as Fred can. "George, this is wrong. Just because you like me it doesn't mean you can pretend you're your twin brother and kiss his girlfriend." You were lashing out at George but he deserved it. "I'm sorry Y/N, please can you not tell Fred about this?" George asked. You thought that Fred deserved to know but for the sake of him and his twins friendship, you weren't going to tell him. "Sure," you replied bluntly "now can I just get some sleep?"
