Once the shower water was running, Carly stripped from her clothing and got in. She washed her body and her hair. She got out, dried her body and her hair and applied body lotion to her skin. She put on her silk robe and decided to do her hair first. She knew exactly what to wear so she didn't bother with that now. She flat ironed her hair and added loose curls at the bottom. She created a path in her hair on the left side and placed some hair behind her ear.
She decided to wear make-up because it was a special night for her. She did her make-up very lightly and was pleased with her work. She got up,dropped her robe and headed to her closet to get her clothing. She wore underwear appropriate for the dress she would be wearing and sprayed perfume to her skin. There it was,her dress for the evening, it was a long gold sparkly dress, with no straps and a thigh-high slit on the right side of it. She adored this dress and decided it would be perfect for tonight. She put the dress on her body, and gently zipping it up while watching herself do so. The dress was perfect,it showed off her perfectly toned caramel skin and every curve she had. She was pleased with what she saw and got her shoes.
Gold strappy heels to match with her dress, tonight not one insecurity she had about herself was on her mind. She felt like a goddess in her own right and she loved it. Her phone started buzzing, it was Brandon letting her know that he was waiting downstairs. She got her clutch, keys and essentials and left her apartment.
She took the elevator down and stepped outside the building where Brandon was waiting for her, looking handsomer than ever, standing by a black limousine. With their eyes fixed on each other she stepped closer to him.
"Wow" was all Brandon could say to the goddess standing before him.
"Thank you" she said with a pleasing smile. He opened the door for her and placed his hand at the small of her back to help her in. He eyes never left her as he got in himself and closed the door.
"Would you like some champagne?" He said finally breaking eye contact with her.
"I'd love some" she said while he poured some for them. He handed her one glass and sipped some from his.
"You look amazing tonight, wow" he said looking at her.
"Thank you" she said with her cheeks burning red as she looked away. He grabbed her chin softly and made her face him.
"Don't do that, I want to see every reaction you have to me" he said looking in her eyes. Her cheeks became more red if that was even possible, she nodded at his statement.
They arrived at a private estate and entered. Carly looked out the window, admiring how well the lights in the garden looked with the flowers. Brandon got out first and helped her out. They walked to a table situated in the middle of the garden. He pulled out her chair for her and got seated himself.
"This place is beautiful Brandon" she said looking at their surroundings.
"Thank you, I inherited it from my late grandfather" he said while pouring them some wine.
"Its amazing" she said shifting in her seat.
"Tonight is your night, its all about you" he said grinning. I guess today was national Carly day then, she thought while sipping some of her wine.
"If you don't mind me asking Brandon, how old are you" she said resting her glass on the table.
"I'm 26 years old, how about you?" He said placing his napkin on his lap.
"I'm 22" she said casually.
"So Ms.Carly, tell me about yourself" he said while a waitor brought their meals.
"Well I graduated last year, I'm originally from Miami, I have no siblings and two great parents who love me, I'm a freelance photographer with the hopes of being a fashion designer, tell me about yourself?" she said looking at him.
"I have great parents who are divorced but still great. I have 3 brothers, two older and one younger, I own a few restaurants here and there and yeah that's the basics" he said looking back at her.
"I find it strange that you guessed my favorite meal" she said smirking.
"Well when I bumped into your cart, I saw all the ingredients to Chicken Alfredo and I guessed that it was your favorite meal" he said looking down.
The rest of the evening was relaxed, they spoke about their lives and enjoyed their meals.
"Let's go for a walk, you can bring your wine with you" Brandon said getting up and holding his hand out for Carly. She accepted it and took her glass while they started their journey. They walked down a path with beautiful roses on each side heading toward a lake. By the lake, there was a bon fire with a blanket by it. They got seated and looked toward the water.
"You know what would be the craziest thing?" Brandon said still staring at the water.
"What?" Carly said looking toward him.
"If a monster just walked out of the water and ate us" he said in a seriously tone. Carly widened her eyes at him and the thoughts of it instantly ran through her mind. Brandon started laughing and pulled her close.
"But don't worry, this isn't some horror movie so you have nothing to worry about" he said with a wide grin.
"I hope so" she said smiling and sipping some wine. He kissed the top of her head and they sat in silence.
"Thank you for tonight Brandon,I really enjoyed it" she said looking at the fire.
"Me too, I hope we can do it again" he said looking down at her.
"Definitely, its pretty late and I'm sleepy, would you mind taking me home" she asked him with heavy eyes.
"Sure let's go" he said getting up and helping her up. They walked back to the limousine and headed back to her apartment. He helped her out and walked her toward the building.
"Thank you Brandon, it was really nice getting to know you" she said smiling.
"Yeah, you too, sleep well alright?" He said holding her hand.
"I will" he pulled her close and kissed her lips softly, she didn't hesitate to kiss him back. A perfect ending to a perfect night, she thought as she pulled away.
"Goodnight Brandon" she said entering the building.
"Goodnight Carly" he said making his was back to the limousine.
