The entire weekend Chaston and Carly were wrapped up in each other. Genessa returned home the Sunday evening and things had been weird between Chaston and Carly ever since.
Chaston felt bad for what he had done but he couldn't help himself. Carly didn't expect him to leave Genessa for her, she understood the situation. Her dates with Trevor became frequent and they've grown closer.
Chaston hated that but he wanted her to have what he couldn't give her. He wanted her to experience the full joy of life with somebody who doesn't have somebody. His relationship with Genessa was on a rocky path. They'd be together but not speak, she'd be out and he'd find himself alone. He thought is this the life he wanted for himself.
He stayed with Genessa cause he couldn't get who he really wanted, and nobody wants to be lonely. He'd visited the doctors a while before Carly started seeing Trevor and received dreadful news. He was afraid to tell his friends and family because he didn't want to break their hearts. He went to the doctor frequently to receive his treatment and returned home like nothing was wrong.
Carly had been enjoying Trevors company but nobody was Chaston. She couldn't compare the two but Chaston just made her feel better than anyone else ever could altogether. Carly returned home one afternoon after a lunch date with Trevor. She found Chaston passed out on the floor, barely breathing. Her heart immediately dropped.
She hurried and called an ambulance, and waited for their arrival. She called everybody she knew who could help and told them what happened.
The ambulance finally arrived, and tried to revive him. They took him and rushed him to the hospital. Carly followed and informed all his family and friends.
They waited patiently for any news on Chastons condition. The doctor finally told them that he was awake now and he could receive visitors.
Carly let everybody else see him before her. When she entered she immediately hugged him and started sobbing.
"I was so scared" Carly whispered through tears.
"I'm okay now, that's all that matters, don't cry" he said wiping her tears and kissing her forehead.
"Baby?!" Genessa said barging in and shoving Carly out of her way.
Carly stood there awkwardly and decided to wait outside. She hated seeing him in pain and she hated the fact that Genessa acted like she cared.
She decided to drive back home and get a few hours of sleep.
