"Lydia, please don't make me go!" I pleaded. We've been at this for hours. She insists on me going to this college party that somehow she got invited to. Unlike Lydia, I'm not the party type. I'd rather stay home and commentate a NASCAR game with my brothers, or even just lay in bed as my boyfriend strokes my hair as I slip into a nap. I've never been involved much in school, my older brother teases me about it being because of my laziness, but really I'm just the type of person to lay low.

"Samantha Mackenzie Hayes, you are going to this party whether you like it or not!" She said shaking a finger in my face.

"Besides," She sighed. "Carson Giet is going to be there." She said using her last possible resort. Carson Giet is one of the most popular fraternity guys in Yaxely College. Most students that go to our highschool practically drool over him when he takes his daily running route around our courtyard. I don't know why she thought this would have any effect on me, I have only been dating my best friend for three years. I thought it over anyway, it wouldn't hurt to get out of the house. All I do all weekend is sit on my bedroom floor and catch up on my piles of homework that I always seem to have gathered over the duration of the week. Honestly, I can't remember the last time that I actually went out for fun, besides maybe going down the road a ways to get to Tyler's house.

"Fine, but you owe me your notes for next week," I decided rolling my eyes dramatically into the back of my head. She squealed and jumped into my arms. I caught her small frame easily, as this was not the first time that she has done this. A memory of our eighth grade dance nuzzled it's way into the back of my head, this was the year that she jumped into my arms and I ended up breaking an ankle due to my three inch heels.

"You know you're amazing right?" She asked.

"Naturally," I said smirking.

*RING* I groaned and rolled over to turn off the machine that makes me the most unhappy. My alarm. Monday morning, a student's worst nightmare. A nightmare that happens to recur every single week. I could feel every cell in my body refuse to allow me to move, I tugged my blanket up around my face as the wind made my curtain move, allowing the sun to destroy my retinas. I rolled out of bed as my favorite machine went off. My phone! I looked to see who texted me, it was Tyler.

Tyler <3: Morning beautiful.

Tyler Jase has been the center of my universe for three years, and not a day has went by sense that I have not received this message as soon as I wake up. The truth is, I trust Tyler more than I trust myself, he has always been way more than just my boyfriend, he's my best friend, too. We've known each other for so long that almost all of my favorite memories are with him. And honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way.

Me: Morning babe, are you going to pick me up today?

I typed back. I tossed my phone back onto my bed as I started to get dressed. Just as I was slipping on my top, my phone went off again:

Tyler <3: Yeah I'll be there in a bit.

It said. I smiled brightly, then made my way downstairs bouncing after every step.

"Morning honey," my mom greeted me in the kitchen. "I'm making eggs and bacon for breakfast," she said. Just as she informed me of breakfast, I began to smell the goodness coming from the skillet. This was usually and every morning ordeal with the menu changing as much as you might think. The occasional switch up of eggs to pancakes, from pancakes to waffles and so forth.

"Jacob, Will, breakfast!" My mother called up the stairs. They flooded down soon after her call, Jacob mumbling something about William stealing his hair gel, and Will grinning menacingly all the way down.
