Daisy had learned to walk with her new leg quite well, and since she was growing bigger every few weeks Tony had agreed to upgrade her leg to a bigger fit when ever it was needed.

"Thanks again for doing this so often Tony, we really owe you one." Steve said one day while he was waiting for Tony to finish Daisy's upgrade.

"It's not a problem Steve, I'm actually getting pretty fond of her. Maybe I should get one, it'll give me something to cuddle with while Pepper is gone." Tony rubbed Daisy on the head as she started to wake up. Steve picked up the one hundred and fifty pound dog like she weighed nothing. He set her down on the floor and clipped her leash on. "See you in a few weeks Tony."

"Steve! I need your help!" Bucky yelled from the bedroom, Steve walked back expecting it was something important but what he found was a now fully grown Daisy laying, spread eagle, on top of Bucky who was struggling to push her off. His arms were pinned under the dog and his legs were stuck under the blanket.

"Hang on, I'll be right back." Steve walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge, he heard Bucky yelling at him from the back of the apartment that this was no time for snacks. Steve walked back into the bedroom holding a slice of Daisy's favorite cheese. "Daisy, look what I got."

Daisy whipped her head around, smacking Bucky in the jaw with her muzzle. While Steve was doubled over with laughter Daisy used Bucky as a spring board to leap off the bed and bound over to Steve. Bucky groaned in pain, one hand on his jaw and the other clutching his groin where Daisy's huge back foot and pushed off.

"Are you okay Bucky?" Steve asked, catching his breathe.

"No." Bucky groaned, still curled in ball on the bed. "I need an ice pack."

Steve, still laughing, tossed the cheese to Daisy who swallowed it in one bite and went to get a bag of ice for Bucky. As he left he heard Bucky mumble a 'stupid dog' in Daisy's direction. Steve walked to the kitchen and got a Ziploc baggie to fill with ice. He grabbed a hand towel on his way back to the bedroom and wrapped it around the bag.

"Here you go, Bucky." Steve was still smiling when he walked in to the room, handing Bucky the baggie of ice.

"Stop laughing jackass, you wouldn't be this giggly if it was you who got his balls smashed by a baby elephant." Bucky's eye were squeezed shut from the aching pain but he could hear Steve's quiet giggles.

"Don't call Daisy an elephant, she's clearly a dog." Steve crouched down and pet her down her back and scratched her chest.

Bucky opened his eyes and glared at Steve. Steve was still smiling, thinking the whole thing was hilarious. Bucky threw his bag of ice at Steve and laughed when it hit him in the side of the head. Bucky stood and walked to the kitchen, wincing at the pain in his groin.

"You're walking like you've got a stick shoved up your butt." Steve had followed him to the kitchen and stood back against the counter as Bucky prepped the coffee maker, it didn't matter what time of day it was, he would drink four cups of coffee in an hour and a half. "You're blood is going to turn into coffee one day if you keep drinking it like this, you're addicted."
