Chapter Seven

I am currently sitting on the couch watching my all time favorite movie, Pride and Prejudice. I don't know how many times I have read the book. I just never tire from it. Ryan is watching it with me, as always. He does whatever I want. What a sucker. His arm is around me and I am cuddled up as close as I can get to him. 

We are at the part of the moview where Darcy declares his love. I look up at Ryan and smile. "I love you" Holy crap I can't believe I said that. I mean I tell him often that I love him, but I think he can tell the difference in my words. I do love him, that's what I thought about while I made breakfast this morning. 

I thought about Justin and Ryan. I realized that Ryan has put me back together. He cleaned up the mess that Justin left. Justin loved me and could possibly still love me but he left me broken and in the end, that is all that matters.

Ryan looks at me stunned for a second and then he smiles. A huge, heart breaking smile. "I knew you would figure it out sooner or later."

My mouth fell open. I am pretty sure I look like a fish, opening and closing my mouth. I don't know what to say. He knew before I did? Why didn't he say something. Anything to push me to this conclusion. 

"You needed to figure it out on your own, love. If I would have told you, you would not have believed me. You still harbored love for him, even if you didn't think so. You believed that no man was good enough. I knew you loved me. I knew you loved me as friend and I hoped as more. I have seen the changes in you these last few days. I've seen you in thought, You don't always hide your emotions like you think. Sometimes, they were yelling at me. Jules, I have loved you since I saw you in boot camp. You were broken. A shell of a young woman, who was lost. I saw the woman you are now in thast person then. You had my heart when you looked up at me from way down where you are."

Hey! That was rude. I thought. "I am sorry I kept you waiting. I was broken. Sometimes, I still think I am"

"You, love, are not broken anymore. You are a strong, beautiful woman. I am extremely happy that it is me that you love. You do know that you will love me forever, right. I will not make the mistake of ever letting you go. I have waited three long years for you."

"If you felt that way, why have you waited?" By now, the movie is long forgotten. I am enthralled with this man in front of me. I didn't know he had these feelings for me. I knew he loved me but I didn't know it was more than friendship. 

Slowly, making sure its okay with him, I reach up and gently touch my lips with his. I have kissed Ryan, many times but never like this. Never with this much emotion. He wasn't startled by it, he seemed content in kissing me. He deepened the kiss slowly. Licking my bottom lip asking for entrance. I gave it to him. I grab a fistful of his shirt and pull him closer. To get better access to me, Ryan lifts me up on places me on his lap. I can't believe I am kissing him, straddling him. We pull away fro each other for some much needed air. He kisses my cheek, nose, lips, then my chin. He moves down to my neck, kissing and licking as he goes. God, is he good at this. He never stops kissing me and I can't stop the euphoric feeling that takes over me. Ryan grabs my hips and pulls me closer to him, if thats possible. There is nothing but our clothes touching each other, that fabric seems like too much. I move my hands to remove his shirt but am lifted into the air instead. Ryan has me wrapped around his body and is carring me upstairs, I think. I can't tell because he is kissing me again. 

I feel him kick the door closed and then I am dropped on the bed, I open my eyes to see it is my room. But before I can think about what we are going to do, Ryan is on top of me again. Kissing me ever so slowly. I grab the hem of his shirt again and rip it off of him.. I rub my hands all over his back and then his stomach. He shivers when I trail my hands from his chest to the edge of his pants.
