Things that you must need to know learning french:

* phonetic characters that only exist in french.

-> Pronouns
-Suject pronouns

je [dʒə] (juh) = I

tu [ty*] (tee*) = you (singular)
*the [y] pronounced as ee in here is rounded, which is quite similar to how we pronounce ui [u:] in juice [dʒu:s]

il [il] (eel) = he

elle [ɛl] (ehl) = she

ce [sə] (suh) = it

nous [nu] (noo) = we

vous [vu] (voo) = you (plural)

ils [il] (eel) = they (in general or consist of only boys)

elles [ɛl] (ehl) = they (consist of only girls)

ces [sɛ] (seh) = they (for objects)

-Object pronouns

me [mə] (muh) = me

te [tə] (tuh) = you (singular)

lui [lɥ] (lew-ee) = him (or her)

nous = us

vous = you (plural)

eux [œ*] (eh*) = them (all boys or in general)
* in here we don't pronounce it eh like in japanese expression...this one is an eh rounded which is quite similar in u [ʊ] in put [pʊt].

elles = them (only girls)

-> French object pronouns are just right after sujbect pronouns, unlike in English which is after the verb.
Example : Il te tuera. = He will kill you.

~ You must take note of some cases like "je t'aime" (i love you) which is very quite confusing if you're a beginner. It is "je te aime" for starter but since the word after te starts with a vowel, te is reduce to t' to make t'aime.

-> French doesn't pronounce the last letter of their words, just like what you read on ils, elles and ces.

~Letters that are frequently unpronounced are : s, e, r, d, t, x, z, p, c, l

-> French words have genders. For example beautiful is belle [bɛl] (behl) for a girl, beau [bo] (boh) for a boy.

-> Genders still matter in plural form.

-> Not all plural forms end with an s, they also end with x. For example beau, in plural is beaux.

I'll stop for now...i'll reexplain thos.grammar in detail in future chapters.
