We'd been out all day, and he'd taken me all over the place. First we went on a MASSIVE shopping trip, and he bought me anything I wanted (though I tried not to pick anything expensive, every time I looked at something and said 'ooh that's cute' or something along those lines he went into the shop and bought it). We had around 30 bags when we got back on the bus.
Next he took me to see Spectre, the new Bond film, which I had been absolutely dying to see, and once again, he paid for everything.
It was now 10pm and pitch black, and we were still out.
"Just one more surprise" he'd said before we jumped on the bus.
Apparently my mum had agreed to all this. Surprising seeing as she never let me out after 9pm. But according to Austin the conversation went on while I was asleep! And somehow he'd got her number! HUH?! But apparently she said:
"Oh of course, I think that's so romantic! Don't worry about a certain time for getting her home, I completely trust her with you!"
Which, if I'm honest, did sound completely like something my mum would say. She's so 'facepalm worthy', as Kyle's gotten into saying.~*~*~
"Can I look now?"
"Nope."We were walking along some street somewhere, and I had no idea where because Austin had his hands over my eyes, guiding me round corners and people.
"How far?"
"Not far now, I promise"
"My eyes have started doing that crazy thing where you see all kinds of swirly patterns"
"It'll all be worth it in the end"
"It'd better be Cole, or I swear to god I'll castrate you"
"I love feisty Kacey. It's just cute"
"Don't call me cute, seriously, I'm not cute, cute is what you call tiny, adorable things."He chuckled and I knew immediately what he was thinking.
"IM NOT THAT SMALL!!!!"
"Whatever you say shortcake"I scowled and grumbled. Then we started walking up steps. Of course me being me, I tripped up the first one because I didn't know it was there. Austin laughed and I elbowed him lightly.
"Aaand...we'rrrrrre...here!" He announced taking his hands off my eyes.
My breath hitched in my throat and my heart thumped hard against my chest.
"Do you...like it?"
"Like it? Austin I love it!"
"Well that sets my heart at ease!" He smiled.
"It's beautiful!" I gushed.
"Well I tried to make it just like you"I turned around and lightly smacked him on the shoulder.
"Could you get more cheesy?" I laughed.
"Oh you want cheesy? Challenge Accepted!"
"Oh don't go all 'Barney Stinson' on me" I sighed.
"Are you from Tennessee?"
"Huh?"
"Coz you're the only 10 I see!"I groaned.
"I don't have a library card, but can I check you out?"
I groaned again.
"I'll stop loving you when an apple grows from a mango tree on the 30th February"
I groaned again.
"I appear to have lost my number. Can I have yours?"
"Ha fail! You already have mine!"He went through his contacts and deleted me.
"Problem solved!"
I sighed and grabbed his phone. I put my contact back in under 'Kace😋' and snatched his phone back and changed it to 'My Princess👸❤️'
"Awwwwww"
"I know, I know, I'm just too cute"I sighed and looked back at his surprise and my heart melted all over again. Now to some it was just 'a picnic' but I could see how much effort he'd put into it. There was little love heart lights strung on the walls, and there was a blanket laid out on the floor with all the food in different areas. There was strawberries (my favourite fruit), chocolate and vanilla ice cream (my favourite ice cream flavours) (in a cooler case obviously, it would've melted) a chocolate cake (my favourite flavour cake) with a little love heart strawberry on the top and there was little candles strewn around the floor.
