Mia's POV

"Okay, so I see that it's no use talking because everything's going in one ear and out the other..." Tyler groans as the boys all goof around, not paying him any attention whatsoever.

He throws his hands in the air and walks away, shaking his head. I give him an encouraging smile as he plops down in the seat beside me.

The boys realize Tyler's gone after a few minutes and they disappear quickly. I'm helping Lou bring in the boys' outfits from the equipment truck. She's busy trying to get them all steamed and set out in order to be ready for tonight's show.

Lou and Tyler talk to each other about something that's way over my head. I sit on the table and watch Lou's busy fingers working on the clothes as if she were born to do her job. The effortless smile on her face echoes that thought as well.

Then out of nowhere I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist and yank me off of my butt. I let out a little squeal, clinging onto the culprit for dear life. My outburst doesn't even phase Lou or Tyler. I twist around to see who it is, though I should have known without even looking...

"Jerk," I mumble as Louis puts me back on the ground.

"I'm starving, wanna go get something to eat?" He asks, whining like a little baby, pouting his lips at me.

I can't even help but to laugh at how childish he can be sometime. Being around him is like being around a small child; a larger, nicer-smelling child at that.

Biting my bottom lip, I glance towards Tyler, knowing my freedom is ultimately up to him. I know he's not a big fan of handling everything on his own; He's easily stressed. How he lasted before I came along, I'll never know...

"I don't care," He tells me, not even missing a beat. He resumes his conversation with Lou without even looking in my direction.

Louis smiles brightly at me and links his elbow with mine, leading the way out of the dressing room with haste. I try my hardest to keep up with his long legs.

"Where are you two troublemakers rushing off to so quickly?" Harry steps in front of us, stopping us dead in our tracks.

He looks bored almost to the point of death. I can tell by the look in his eyes that he's hoping we're up to something interesting. You wouldn't think a group of teenage boys with an entire venue at their fingertips would get so bored so easily.

"We're going to clean the bathroom toilets and then taking turns counting the hairs on our head," I reply, my face showing no emotion whatsoever.

Harry gives me a look as if I had just grown another head. I keep my expression serious, actually convincing him until Louis bursts out into laughter. I shoot him a glare as he laughs loudly, clapping Harry on the shoulder.

"We're getting a bite to eat," He explains, causing Harry to stick his tongue out in my direction.

"I'm coming with, otherwise I'll end up tying together all of the chords backstage into a noose," He groans, walking in stride beside Louis.

The other guys don't pay us any attention as they kick around a soccer ball. Wanting to be quick so we're back in time, we dart out the backdoor with one of their bodyguards following closely behind. He leads us to one of the large SUVs, glancing around every few seconds, making me incredibly nervous.

Squeezed between Harry and Louis in the backseat, I listen as they argue over what food their in the mood for. I can tell the bodyguard is getting irritated as he drives around the block until they can decide. I try to put my input in, but they totally disregard me.
