Mia's POV

"Mia, love. It's time to wake up," A soft voice accompanies a gentle shaking of my shoulder, causing me to jerk out of the light slumber I was teetering on.

Slowly I blink my eyes, fighting to adjust to the harsh light. I let out a groan as I sit up in my uncomfortable airplane seat. Feeling completely groggy and disgusting, I can't help but to push Louis away the moment his lips touch mine.

He looks at me, pouting his lips as he wears an incredibly sad expression. I rub my eyes and shake my head at him.

"I have nap breath and feel so disgusting right now," I complain, feeling so incredibly restless. I need to get off of this plane and get right into a hot shower.

"Well you still look beautiful," Louis chuckles and quickly sneaks a kiss, making me groan and pout at him in return.

Stretching my arms and legs to my best ability in the cramped airplane, I glance around to the seats around us. Several smiling faces look at me in return. Niall and Liam both flash me cheeky grins as they continue to discuss something on Niall's phone. And Harry and Zayn give me rather groggy smiles as they appear to have just woken up as well.

As I settle back in my seat, I sneak a loving glance to the cozy looking boy snuggled beside me on this cramped airplane. His eyebrows are furrowed in concentration as he listens to the pilot explain the landing process over the speaker.

The corners of my lips turn up, unable to help themselves. Whenever I take a minute to really think about it, I'm still in a state of shock that Louis and I are together. It's rather funny, isn't it? The way things work out in the end.

Trying to be as discreet as possible, I snake my arm through his, snuggling closer to him. Immediately his attention is removed from the speaker as he flashes me that charming little grin of his.

I still get rather short-of-breath as I watch the crinkles form beside those dazzling blue eyes of his. The look of pure adoration on his face makes my entire body warm up from the inside. It's a feeling you can't put to words.

"Welcome to Las Vegas," The pilot announces over the speaker to which Louis and I exchange a knowing smile.

* * * *

I let out a loud sigh as I gaze upon the large paparazzi crowd that has already managed to form outside of our hotel room before we've even checked in. Louis shoots me a concerned glance over his shoulder to which I roll my eyes at.

Though the attention from the media still scares the living hell out of me, I pretend to not be bothered by it as much. Niall - who is still deathly afraid of the paparazzi - told me his secret; that if you look terrified, they'll just feed into it. You have to appear unfazed by them.

So, trying my hardest to stick to his advice, I put my strong face on as we all pile out of the SUV. Flashes and loud shouts greet me immediately, forcing me to grip onto Louis with desperation. When his warm hand meets mine, I start to calm down slightly, even flashing a smile or two for the cameras.

"Mia! Louis! You guys look great!" A man shoves his camera in our face, causing us to nearly crash into the man.

"You do too!" I give him a cheery smile back before our bodyguard shoves him out of the way.

Out of the corner of my eye I catch Louis laughing and giving me a bright smile. He gives my hand a tight squeeze as we finally make it through the hotel doors.

The other lads all bring loud conversations and laughter with them as they burst into the lobby. You can tell by the irritated expressions on the workers around the room that we're certainly not their most favorite people in the world.
