"So the fact that you are not wearing your uniform and that you didn't drive yourself here must mean you didn't go home last night." Jeremy states.
"You caught me. I stayed at Ivan's last night. By the time we had dinner and the movie was over, it was late." I explained.
"You didn't watch no movie Ella!" Jeremy says. "Please don't tell me those are the clothes he ripped off you last night?"
"Ha no way! Brad used to live at Ivan's before moving in with Courtney and I. He still hasn't brought all his stuff to the apartment so Courtney had some clothes there."
"Alright. Get to work Ella."
Hey Courtney! I got called into work this morning. Anyway you can pick me up at 5:30? Ivan brought me to work and he's done at 4:30.
*ding ding*
Awe crap Ella I can't. Brad and I are going to his parents for dinner at 5. Maybe we can bring your car to you before we go.
Isn't Brad working today?

He took the day off today. I just asked him. We will be there in 20 minutes.
Ok I'm working the 3rd floor. Come in when you get here I need to talk to you.

My phone dings again and I expect it be Courtney again, but it's Ivan.
I can't stop thinking about last night.

Courtney finally arrived with my car and brought me keys up to the room I was cleaning. I discussed with her about Ivan wanting me to move in. She told me to go for it. She said if it doesn't work out my room will always be there to come back too and that she can do it on her own since Brad is finally moving in. I give her a quick hug, tell her I love her and ask what would I do without her. She leaves and I continue to work. One more hour to go and I'm done with work.
I have 3 rooms to finish in that hour and it's a race against time. I must get them done though. I'm not staying any longer than I need to be. It worked out that Jeremy wanted me to come to work earlier, but I swear he left me with the hardest rooms ever!
"Knock knock"
"Hey Elijah!"
"I've been instructed to come help you finish up. Looks like he would have made you clean the whole hotel." He giggles.
Elijah is a little nerdy cutie pie. Barely just turned 18. I found out he needed the morning off so he could take his exams for college.
"You're telling me! Hey thanks though. I need to be out of here by 5:30. I have plans tonight."
"Woah....you have plans?" He smugly says. "You never have plans."
"Well Mr.Elijah I do tonight." I playfully stick my tongue out at him.
He smiles. "Where do you want me to start?"
"I'm just about finished up with this room. Did you want to start the next room?"
"Sure thing!"
"Thanks Elijah! I'll be over in a minute."
I grabbed the fitted sheet so I can make the bed. This is the last thing and this room is done. I went to pull the dirty sheets off the bed and a used condom flew up and hit me in the face. Naturally I screamed. Elijah and Jeremy came running in.
"What's wrong Ella?" Jeremy asked.
I couldn't find the words to speak. All I could was point and Elijah and Jeremy burst out laughing. Elijah grabbed a rubber glove from the cart and picked it up, holding it as far as he could away from him and he decided to be funny and dangle it in my face. I smacked his arm and he turned to the garbage bag and there it away.
"Awe come on Ella you act like we haven't found millions of these." Elijah laughs.
"Not the point Elijah. It hit me in the face!"
Jeremy and Elijah bust out laughing again as Janice walks in the room.
"Leave the poor girl alone." She says shoving them out the door. "Get back to work. I'll help you make the bed Ella and don't mind them, boys are immature.
"Thanks Janice!"
"So I hear you have a new young man in your life?" She asked.
"Yes I do." I answer blushing.
"Good for you honey. I hope he's a good one. Lord knows you deserve it after the hell Jason put you through!"
"So far so good Janice. He's been pretty amazing!"
Janice and I finish up the bed and get the pillows lined onto the bed perfectly. Janice and I walked over to the room Elijah started and asked if he needed help. It was already 5:00 and I had a half hour to get these rooms done. Elijah said he got it and that Janice and I could do the final room. So Janice and I headed over to room 356. The people staying in this room weren't too bad. They were pretty neat so this room should be a piece of cake. Janice and I finished the room in 15 minutes and headed over to see how Elijah was. He was finished too, so Jeremy said I can go ahead and cut out early.
"Hey guys thank you so much for the help." I say waving goodbye.
"You're welcome Ella. Have fun tonight!" Elijah called out.
I walk out the door and jump my car and head home. I'm exhausted but I'm looking forward to my time with Ivan tonight. Hope he picks up something good to eat tonight because I am starving.
