Hello, everyone. I hope you all enjoy this chapter. I needed a little pick-me-up. I made the difficult but necessary decision to euthanize my mare, Dove, on Saturday. She was thirty-one years old and the best Arabian I have ever owned. RIP, my love. May you race forever among the stars.

Anyway, this is dedicated to @ObsessedwithAvi.

I am warning you all that there is a bit of language in this as well as a slight trigger.

And almost one hundred views? Wow! Comment, would you? I very much enjoy talking to you wonderful folk.

Love you all, my darlings!

"Scott! Get dressed!"

"Why?"

"Kirstie called! We're going to the carnival with her and Jeremy!"

Scott groaned and stepped into the kitchen where Mitch was munching on some of the Chinese takeout they had gotten the night before. Both men had returned from rehearsals too tired to either cook or eat out, so thus they ordered in. "What time does she want to go?"

"Well, we were thinking about going right around dusk. You know that Kirstie loves the lights. So, I suppose that seven would be a good time."

Scott nodded. "Are Kevin and Avi going to go?"

Mitch shrugged. "I'm sure that Tracy and Sandra will want to go. More than likely, the whole gang will tag along." Mitch became worried. "Why? Is that okay? I mean, I'm sure we don't have to hang around them if you would rather go our separate ways once we get to the carnival. They're not going to think anything of it."

Scott kissed Mitch in an effort to stop his rambling. "Stop worrying, baby. It's fine if they go. The more the merrier!" He tried to steal a fortune cookie. Mitch giggled, smacked his hand away, and pointed to the bathroom. Scott laughed and made his way to the shower. "All right, all right. I got it. I'll be out in a few minutes. Don't miss me too much."

Mitch rolled his eyes fondly and resumed eating, occasionally feeding some cat treats to Wyatt. His phone buzzed on the counter before him, and 'Back Up' by DeJ Loaf began playing. He grinned and hurriedly answered. "Sissy! How are you, babe?"

The girl on the other side of the line laughed. "Bro, you have got to drag your sassy ass out of your apartment and go to the carnival with us! There's going to be so much food! And the rides!"

Mitch could hear Avi's laughter over the phone. "Can you tell she's had too many energy drinks, Mitch?"

Mitch waved his hand, even though they couldn't see it. "Big Daddy, there is no way anyone can consume too much Red Bull, especially the Queens."

"That's what I told him!" Sandra laughed.

"Okay, so you are going?"

Sandra nodded. "Yep; yep; yep!"

Mitch gasped. "We should leave our men at home! It can be a bitches only invite! That way, we can look at all of the cute boys without them getting all possessive and jealous!"

Sandra laughed as Avi grumbled beside her. "I don't think my sexy beast is okay with that, sweet cheeks. Besides, you know how much I love possessive and jealous Avi." Sandra winked at her fiancé. "But, we can have a slumber party after if you're down for it!"

"Yes, sis! Swing by to pick Scottie and me up?"

"Of course, Queen. Love you bunches!"

"Same!"
