More Than Friends

Liam’s POV;

Finally! I was home after touring America and I had some time of before me and the lads would start working on our 2nd album. Me & Danielle had just broken up and I was honestly heartbroken. We’ve been together for so long and I really loved her. I needed something to get my mind of her. ‘Brit’, I thought. She was the new family dog, I could go train with her and stuff. When I got the house Brit was inmedeatly at the door and jumped up to me. She has gotten so big! I’d been away for 2 months and puppies apparently grow really fast. She already almost had the height of an adult labrador, but the rest of her body still needed to grow into the right proportions, it looked kinda funny to be honest. I hugged her tight and walked into the kitchen where my mom was sitting at the table reading. ‘Hi mom’, I said while giving her a hug and kiss on the head. ‘Brit his gotten really big!’ ‘Yeah, she did’, mom said, ‘She has been missing you boy, you should train with her.’ I nodded at her and went upstairs to unpack my things. Brit as a loyal dog followed me around everywhere and laid on my bed. Gosh, I just love dogs. Their unconditional love and loyalty, they at least wouldn’t break your heart. After unpacking my things and starting laundry I took a quick shower. I was jetlagged and decided to no teat diner and went into bed, Brit laid there at my feet curled up against them and we both fell asleep.
