Chapter 21

Liam’s POV;

On my way home from walking Emily home I couldn’t help but think about her. I got my phone and just looked at the picture I took of her sleeping. She was perfect, even when she was sleeping. I really started to like her, more than just a friend. I hadn’t noticed my feelings for her before, I was just to busy with drinking and stuff but right then and there I realized something. I’ve had these feelings for a while now, everytime we were together I felt so close to her and she made me feel good and I never thought about Danielle when I was with her. Danielle I thought, she texted me but I didn’t care. I just smiled the whole way home. When I walked into the living room I had the biggest shock, it was her! It was Danielle! What the hell was she doing her? ‘You didn’t respond to my texts’, she said, ‘I was worried about you so I came over and your mom said you’d be right back from bringing Emily home.’ Oh crap, I thought to myself, she’s going to want an explanation now. Mom walked out of the room and left us alone and I just snapped at Danielle. ‘What the hell are you doing here? I don’t want to see you!’ I yelled at her and I saw her looking down, I’d hurt her but to be honest I didn’t care that much anymore. ‘I just..’, she started, ‘When I saw that picture of Emily I realized that I missed you and I got jealous and when you didn’t respond I just, I came here.’ ‘You want an explanation?!’ I said to her, ‘Well, I’ll give you one. Emily has been here for me in this hard time, you really broke my heart.’ ‘I know’ she said but she didn’t know! ‘I started drinking but she is helping me and to be really honest, I’m starting to fall for her.’ As I said that I got the butterflies again. ‘Ok.. Then I guess were done here’ Danielle said and she went away.
