Liam’s POV;

‘So, I’ve wanted to ask or more tell you something,’ her grandfather started, ‘Let me start with you Liam’ and he looked at me and I replied ‘Sure sir, what can I do for you?’ ‘Well,’ he continued, ‘I can see you really love Emily and she loves you too and I wanted to ask you to take good care of her in this difficult time, she needs someone like you.’ and I saw his eyes were watering up. ‘Ofcourse sir, I wouldn’t do anything else, I won’t leave her side’ I replied, he said thank you and then motioned me to go to Emily, he wanted to talk to my mom alone for a bit, probably because she was the closest thing to family they had around here. As I got out of the room I saw Emily sitting on a bench, head down and in her hands. I sat down next to her and took her in my arms. We sat there for like 5-10 minutes when my mom and her grandfather in a wheelchair came out ready to go to her grandma. When we came by the room the docters were in there taking what looked like her vitals and when they came out they said ‘We’re very sorry, but keep in mind, you really are making the right decission.’ And he nodded at Emily and her grandfather and then we went inside. There was a nurse there and as we came in she said ‘Take your time to say your goodbyes and when you’re ready you can call us in.’ We all nodded and Emily just stood there with her back to my chest not knowing what to do, she was just staring at her grandma. I walked up to the bed and sat down in the chair next to the bed and motioned Emily to come sit with me. She sat down on my lap and my mom wheeled her grandfather to the other side of the bed and pulled up another chair and sat besides him holding his hand. He and Emily just looked at eachother both not knowing what to do or say.
