Liam’s POV;
When I got home I walked to the kitchen to find Emily and my mom there making breakfast and setting the table to eat together. I didn’t have breakfast myself yet so I also grabbed myself a plate and stuff and sat down with them. ‘You’re home fast’, mom said and I nodded. ‘Yeah, they gave me the week off to help around here with everything that needs to be done.’ And I could see Emily was quite happy with that and so was my mom. After breakfast I helped my mom with the dishes and stuff while Emily took a shower. While doing the dishes mom talked to me about helping Emily and her grandfather with the funeral arrangements for coming friday. I really loved my mom for stepping up like this, she was an amazing woman and I only hoped to be half as good and generous as her. When Emily got down from her shower I quickly went up and took one too. When I came downstairs Emily and my mom were looking at flowers for the funeral. ‘So, did the dogs get walked yet?’ I asked and my mom answerred they handn’t been out yet. ‘You want to go out for a little walk Emily?’ I asked her and she nodded. ‘Let me go grab my shoes’ she said and she went upstairs. ‘Brit can walk without a leash now,’ mom said, ‘She’s mimiking Dunya which is quite easy I have to say’ she continued. Emily got back downstairs with her converse on ‘Ready?’ I asked and she nodded. We walked to the door grabbed our coats and went out, both dogs without a leash.
