Liam’s POV;
Good, no press around I thought and I reached for her hand. She didn’t pull back so it obviously was ok for me to do this. I looked to my right, to Emily and she looked back and gave me the cutest smile. She liked it, she definetly liked it! It was a small move/step but it was one, one in the right direction. The rest of the week went by pretty fast and everyday we walked the dogs together, hand in hand. The press had cought us a few times and it had been in the papers ‘Is this Liam’s mystery girl from home?’ were the headlines but we both didn’t care. We looked at them, just threw them out like ‘whatever’ and continued doing our thing which was good. Today was the day, the funeral of her grandma, it was going to be an emotional day. We got to the church early and surprisingly a lot of people showed. The family wasn’t big but they had lots of friends. I stood by the door with Emily, clunching her hand and mom was with her grandfather. The lads also came as they said and they all hugged Emily and said their condoleances to her grandfather and I could see he really appreciated it. After the last people went in we walked in behind the coffin and took place on the front row, me still holding Emily’s hand. The ceremony was not to long and really beautifull. At some point Emily got really emotional and put her head on my shoulder to cry. It’s weird but I was really happy I was here with her to support her.
