Liam’s POV;
A few weeks went by after me fessing up to Emily and I saw her almost every day. We sat down at a bench in the park everyday and just talked for hours, we talked about Danielle and her loosing her parents, it was good, we really were good friends now. My drinking habits had only gotten worse, somehow boose just helped me forget about Danielle and I could tell Emily was getting worried about it. I’d really gone of the rails, but when I was with Emily I could get everything of my chest and I didn’t feel the need to drink, she made me feel better and I really needed her. It was saturday night and I was about to go out when Emily walked in. She sat down on my bed and patted beside her motioning me to come sit there. ‘We need to talk’, she said looking at me very seriously. ‘Your drinking habits, it really isn’t good’, she started, ‘You’ve gone of the rails and I’m really worried’. I saw her eyes started to water up and I could tell she really was worried. I hugged her and got my phone and texted my friends I wasn’t coming tonight, I was going to talk to her and fix this problem. I could see Emily was really hurting by my behavior lately and I didn’t want that. We talked about it for a while and I promised her I wouldn’t drink again but call her instead when I felt like drinking because of my feelings. She hugged me and we decided to watch a movie though it already was very late. She called her grandparents not to stay up.
