Jack's POV

We were in the car, driving to the adoption center to pick up Trina. I was so very nervous. I could barely keep still. I was chewing on my nails and Mark put his hand on my leg.

I wasn't liked by a lot of people when they found out about my past. Most people just immediately judged me. Except Mark. He believed in me and took care of me.

I'll have to tell my fans the whole story one day, I feel bad for keeping it from them. I thought.

But that was a thought for later because we were there already.

Mark stepped out of the car and opened the door for me.

"Hope you're ready to meet our daughter."

"Ready as I'll ever be Mark."

I hope she never finds out about what horrible things her father to-be did, I thought.

We walked into the building and Mark checked in with the secretary as I took a seat on the couch in the lobby.

My legs were bouncing. Nervousness had turned into excitement.

This is a huge step into my new life, I told myself.

Mark sat down next to me, grabbed my cheeks and pecked me on the lips.

"You excited?"

I smiled at my husband.

"You bet."

Mark's POV

I smiled at Jack. He's so cute, good Lord.

I was pretty excited myself. I loved little kids, I have 12 nieces and nephews. They are all so precious.

The secretary, Mrs. Condon, made her way over to us.

"She's ready, and she is very excited to have two lovely fathers," she said smiling.

I looked over at Jack, smiled, and gripped his hand.

Mrs. Condon lead us through a series of hallways and finally to a door.

She pushed it open and there Trina sat on a little pink bed.

Trina was so adorable. She had lots of curly brown hair and freckles. Her large green eyes fixed on Jack and I.

She saw us and jumped up and ran over to us.

"So," she began matter-of-factly.

"You guys are going to become my dads?"

Jack was grinning from ear to ear. "Yes ma'am." He replied.

Trina laughed. "You are a keeper," she said.

I chuckled. "You are pretty sassy."

"What's it to you Mr. Fischbach?" She asked as she put her hand on her hips.

I walked over to her and sccoped her up. Trina laughed as I threw her over my shoulder. "That's just the way I like 'em."

Mrs. Condon smiled and said "She's all yours."

We walked out, with Trina in my arms. Jack filled out the last bit of paper work and then we got in the car.

Jack's POV

Trina was amazing. She has a good sense of humor, just like Mark. She was very interested in what we did for work.

"So you both play video games and make money off of that?"

"That's right T." Mark said. I smiled. He already had a nickname for her.

"That's SO cool!" She exclaimed. "I want to do that."

I laughed. "We'll show you the ropes kiddo."

"Yes." She said as she pumped her fist.

"So, I hear your 6 years old, and your birthday is a couple days before mine." Mark said.

"Yes, it's June 26." Trina said.

"Convenient , I guess I only have to get one set of gifts, you guys will have to share." I said teasingly.

"NO! That's not how it works!" Trina yelled, pounding my shoulder. I started to laugh, and so did Mark.

Eventually, Trina began to laugh too. By the time we got home, we had tears rolling down our faces from laughing so hard.

We lead Trina inside, and she sprinted up to her room. Mark and I smiled at each other and we followed her upstairs.

She was already jumping on her bed when we got there.

"I love it guys!" Trina said.

The room had a dry erase wall, so she could write or draw stuff on it. The bed had a polka dot bedspread and the closet was massive.

"Glad you do honey," I said.

She ran over to us and wrapped us both in a hug.

My cheeks hurt from smiling.

"You guys are keepers forever." Trina whispered.

"We love you baby." Mark said.
