I want to thank ShawnsUndead for giving me the wonderful idea of Trina calling Jack "daidi"

Jack's POV

I sat alone on the subway. I was sober now and everything that happened came back to me.

I held my head in my hands.

How could I do such a thing?

I was so ashamed.

I felt the hot tears silently drip down my cheecks. I couldn't face Mark.

The train signaled my stop and it snapped me out of my hazey state.

I stepped out onto the platform and pulled out a crumpled ball of paper from my pocket.

It had the address I needed go to.

To meet my mom.

I hailed a taxi once I got out of the train station and to a street corner.

"Where to?" the taxi driver asked me

"To 2206 Abbey road."

"Okie dokie."

I buckled my seatbelt and attempted to prepare myself for what is about to come.

Mark's POV

I felt the tears pool up in my eyes as I waited outside Trina's school.

I missed Sean. I know he didn't want me to go looking for him, but I missed him... I  wanted him back.

It only had been a couple hours, but I missed his laugh, his squeaky Irish accent, they way his blue eyes lit up when he saw me.

I heard the bell ring, and kids poured out of the front doors.

I waved Trina over and she skipped over to the car.

It was hard to cry when a literal ball  of sunshine was running to you.

I dried my eyes and a huge grin creeped across my face.

"Trina! How was school!"

"It was great dad!" she said as she got in the car.

I smiled. "What did you do in school?"

The rest of the car ride home, she jabbered on about how they were growing lima beans on science class.

We got home and she jumped onto a stool at the breakfast bar.

"Daddy?"

"Hmm? What do you want?" I teased her.

"How do you know I want something?" Trina asked, putting her hands on her hips.

"You only call me daddy when you want something."

She laughed.

"Ok... I want to know something."

"What is it T?" I sat next to her.

"Where's daidi?"

Jack's POV

The taxi stopped at a dead end of a road. The road ended in a coldasack

"This is it buddy." The taxi driver said.

"Uh... Ok thanks." I paid him and he left.

I looked around. There were some woods at the edge. I spotted a path that went through the woods.

I started to follow it.

It felt like hours before I reached a clearing that had a small dingy house in the middle.

I took a deep breath. I felt the anger boiling up inside of me.

I banged on the door.

Mark's POV

I tensed up.

"Daidi..." I repeated slowly. I couldn't believe she knew that.

"Yea!"  she chirped "It means dad in Irish! I learned it for him!"

I felt a sharp pain in my heart, like someone was slowly stabbing it.

"Dad?..." Trina asked cautiously.

"Hm? Oh yea... He... uh... Daidi is...is going to be gone for a while."   I held back tears.

Trina looked at me curiously. "He left us?"

I looked shocked. "No, no, no! He didn't... Jackaboy went to... vist relatives."

"Oh! Ok! I hope he has fun and tells me all about it when he gets back."

She lept off the stool and walked upstairs.

"I am going to do some homework dad!"

I felt breathless.

"Ok T..."

Sean wouldn't leave us for good...

Would he?
