Michael's POV

I woke up at 10:30 to my alarm and walked downstairs to see if anybody else was awake. Balthazar was in his usual state in the morning. Leaning against the counter reading the newspapaer. "Its about damn time you woke up," he said looking up from the paper.

"Good morning to you too," I responded with sarcasm.

"So you gonna go to baseball tryouts?" He asked taking a drink from his coffee.

"Yeah. Figured I should try to blend in," I said shrugging and walking over to the opposite side of the counter.

"I think you'll do great."

"Thanks Balthy," I said pausing. "Balth?"

"Yeah."

"I told someone im gay," I said looking down.

"Who?" He asked. I hesitated. "Michael, who did you tell?" He asked, not in a forceful tone but a caring one.

"Lucifer."

"Well if you told him then there must have been a good reason."

"Youre not mad?" I asked turning around to face him, confused.

"It's your desicion if you want people to know youre gay," Balthazar said closing the paper and taking a drink of his morning tea.

"Thanks Balth. I just, I felt like I could really trust him for some reason."

"What time is he picking you up?" He asked taking another drink of his tea.

"About quarter to 3" I said. He nodded.

"You want breakfast?" He asked pointing to the cupboard.

"I will in a bit."

"Suit yourself," he said sipping his tea and going back to the newspaper.

"Good morning Michael," Castiel said walking down the stairs.

"Hey Cassie, how'd your date go last night with Dean," I said wiggling my eyebrows.

He blushed and crossed his arms. "If you must know it went just fine."

I laughed, "Fair enough," then went back to my room. Putting my stuff away while moving in, I put my baseball things in my closet. I walked over to my closet and took out my baseball bag to make sure I had everything in there. Metal baseball bat, large barrel: check. Metal baseball bat, medium barrel: check. Wooden baseball bat, medium barrel: check. Fielding glove: check. First baseman's glove: check. Pitching glove: check. Catcher's glove: no check. Ill have to ask Balth where thst went. Its not like I need it or anything though, I thought to myself. Batting helmet: check. Batting gloves: check. Baseball cap: check. Looks like I should be alright, I thought.

I decided not to take a shower because I was just going to take one after baseball tryouts anyway. The Dreamcatcher by Stephen King sat on my nightstand so I grabbed that and just started to read. I read for about 15 minutes when my phone buzzed.

Going to eat?

Right

I put my book back on the table and walked back downstairs to eat breakfast. There was a box of Lucky Charms, a bowl with a spoon and a gallon of milk sitting on the counter. Balthazar was not in the kitchen anymore. He probably went in the living room or maybe into town again. I poured myself some cereal and milk. When I went to put the milk back into the fridge ther was a note attached to the front.
