Chapter 9

Michael's POV

The bell rang signalling the end of the school day. "Finally!" Lucifer said.

I laughed. "Happy school is over?"

"Yes. But hey ive gotta run so ill text you later," Lucifer said putting his bookbag on.

"Ok. See ya Luci."

"See ya later Mike." He hurried out of the classroom. I waited for everyone else to disperse out of the classroom. Castiel would probably take his time coming to the car. Lots of kids were outside socializing.

"Michael!" I heard a familiar voice yell my name. I turned to where the voice was coming from. It was Benny.

"Hey guys," I said reaching him. He was with Jo, Meg, Kevin and Charlie.

"Heya Mike. Tomorrow night were all planning to hang out at Jo's place. Since her parents are gonna be out.

"Oh man id love to but im actually busy tomorrow night."

"You too? Man Dean and Cas are also busy. They apparently have a date tomorrow night," he said rolling his eyes.

"Sorry but maybe next time," I was going to turn to go to the car, but I turned back. "Do you guys happen to know where Castiel is?"

Charlie pointed behind me. "Have fun pulling that apart," she said and they all laughed.

"Thanks. Ill talk to you guys later," I waved and jogged over to Castiel and Dean. "Heya love birds. When youre ready Castiel, I will be in the car," I said making him roll his eyes at me.

I laughed and walked over to the car. I unlocked and and sat in the driver's seat throwing my bookbag in the back but before I closed the door I noticed something on my windshield. It was a rose and a piece of paper. What the hell?

I stepped back out of the car and picked up the note and rose.

Roses are red...

I smiled. Lucifer. When the hell did he have time to do this?! We have every class together... except fourth. By that point I was smiling like an idiot.

"What are you smiling at? Oo did some one leave you a love note." I looked up and Castiel was sitting in the passenger's seat looking at me.

"What? No!"

"Then where'd you get the rose and that note?" He asked smirking.

I got back into the car and rolled my eyes. "Fine. Its a love note. And im pretty sure its not the last one," I said smiling and holding up the note for him to see.

Is this why Lucifer had to leave quickly. "Would you get going? I would appreciate if we got home before next week," Castiel said.

"Sorry yeah." I turned on the car and pulled out of the parking lot.

"Well damn Michael. Someone really likes you," he said pointing to the flower petals all along the side walk that connects the driveway to the front porch.

"Wow," I said quietly to myself. I turned off the car, grabbing my bookbag and the flower and not and got out and started following the petals. They led all the way up onto the porch and there was another note attached to the door.

...Violets are blue...

I took the note off the door and smiled to myself. "Balthazar!" I called as we stepped into the house.

"In the kitchen!"

I walked into the kitchen and smirked as I asked him "did you know about these?"
