Chapter 10

Michael's POV

I woke to my alarm clock going off. It was Friday. Today was my date with Lucifer. And it was also my 18th birthday. Just as I walked out of my bedroom Castiel did also.

"Happy Birthday Michael," he said yawning.

I smiled. "Thanks Cassie."

He gave me and evil stare. "Dont call me that."

"I can do whatever I want. Its my birthday," I said and smirked. He rolled his eyes. We walked downstairs and into the kitchen to eat breakfast. On the counter there was a card with a birthday cake on it.

Happy birthday to the man whos like the little sister I never had.

I threw my head back and laughed. "He's got a good one every year."

"Ive got your present upstairs but youre not getting it until after school," Castiel said pouring Lucky Charms out of his box of cereal.

"Alright. I suppose I can wait," I said and smiled. He rolled his eyes and smiled back and went over to the dinning room table.

"So who's your date tonight? Is it the same guy who left you those notes yesterday?"

I blushed a little and nodded. "Yeah. If I tell you who it is you promise you wont tell anyone? At least until next Friday."

"Of course Michael."

"Ok," I smiled and leaned on the the counter. "Its Lucifer."

His eyes widened. "Lucifer!?" He paused and quieted. "Youre alright with him keeping you a secret?"

I hesitated. "Well I mean, not really but next Friday night there's a 'Welcome Back' dance at the school. He asked me to be his date. That's gonna be his big coming out."

He sighed. "Alright I wont tell anyone. But id still be careful Michael."

"Yeah I know. Now eat your cereal."

Time skip

I went to my locker when I got to school before I went to first period to put a couple books in there. It took me a while to find my locker since it was on the opposite side of the school where apparently not many people go, according to Charlie. There isnt even a camera in this part of the hallway. I put away my books and closed my locker. Then I couldnt see anything. Two hands covered my eyes. I didnt know what to do so I reacted the only way I knew how.

I grabbed one of their arms and spun whoever it was around so that I was now pinning them againt the lockers with my arm against their neck. But to my surprise, it was only Lucifer. His eyes were widened, almost with fear. "Oh my gosh! I- I am so sorry Luc!" I quickly let go and ran a hand through my hair.

"Hey hey hey. Its alright Mikey. I am so sorry. I didnt mean to scare you. Just wanted to surprise you," he said walking closer to me, putting his hands on my arms. "And you are really strong," he said most likely attempting to calm me down.

"Lucifer, someone could see us," I said looking down and changing the subject.

He smiled. "No ones gonna see us. Nobody ever comes down here usless their locker is down here with yours. And if someone does happen to see us then screw them. I told you Michael, I want people to see the real me this year. Even If it is before i make my big coming out scene at the dance next Friday," he said laughing a little.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him tight. As he put his arms around my waist just like yesterday. "You're a great guy Lucifer."
