Chapter 11

Lucifer's POV

"Luci!! How did your date go?" Gabriel jumped infront of me as I walked in the front door. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"You wanna hear about it too Anna?" I said knowing she was probably just around the corner in the kitchen.

She came out around the corner, just as I suspected with a giddy smile on her face. "Ee! Yes tell us all about it!" She screeched and walked into the kitchen. We followed behind her. Anna and Gabriel sat on the stools at the island.

"Alright well I went to pick him up and his brother Balthazar called for him, because he was upstairs. And when he walked down the stairs he looked just amazing!"

"Ok Luc we just wanna know what happened, not all the lovey feely crap," Gabe said cracking a smile.

Anna slapped him lightly on the shoulder. "Gabriel! Yes we do Luci. We want to know everything. "

Gabriel rolled his eyes but smiled and leaned forward in interest. "So I drove him to the park and he was really confused. I kept where I wae taking him a secret and kept telling him its a surprise. So I gave him a hint and guessed it. I was taking him up to the treehouse."

Anna's eyes widened. "You showed him your treehouse?"

I awkwardly laughed. "Actually he found it on his own. He was walking through the woods and stumbled across my path. But anyways, we went up to the treehouse and i decorated the tree house with fairy lights and a red picnic blanket. We ate dinner."

"And by dinner you mean pie?" Gabriel said smirking.

"You know what fairy lights are?" Anna asked surprised.

"That's exactly what I mean. And yes I do." Anna just shrugged.

"You can never go wrong with sweets."

"You are not wrong. Funny thing though, Michael had never had pie before."

"What?!" Gabriel yelled sitting up straight.

"Never had pie?" Anna said looking at me dumbstruck.

"Nope."

"Im really glad I told you to make pie."

"Me too. So after we ate the pie and it was dark outside I had him follow me out of the tree house right below it. When he got all the way down I flipped a switch and turned on more fairy lights that i strung on the bottom branches of the trees."

"Who knew he devil could be so romantic?" Anna said.

I rolled my eyes and continued. "I used my ipod dock to play music. Then I asked him to dance. For practice."

"Practice?"

"I asked him to the dance next Friday."

"Youre coming out?!" Anna and Gabriel yelled excitedly at the same time.

I nodded and smiled. "It appears so."

"Eek!" Anna screeched.

"Anyways after we danced, we walked to the edge of the woods to where it was light again and then we raced to car. And then I drove him home."

"Did you win?" Gabriel asked.

"Did you kiss him?" Anna asked.

I sighed and laughed. "No and no. He is really fast and I wanna take this one slow. Im serious about him."

"Awww! Well im happy for you Luci."

"Thanks Anna."

"Glad to know youve finally decided to join the rest of us," Gabe said. I raised an eyebrow, questioning what he said. He stood up and skipped away saying "Its about time you embraced the rainbow, brother."

Anna an I both rolled our eyes and laughed. "Id like to properly meet Michael."

"I havent even asked him to be my boyfriend!"

"Are you going to?" She asked smirking.

"Anna! Ive only known him for like a week! And like I said I wanna take it slow," I paused and thought a second. "And I dont remember the last time I actually had a real boyfriend or girlfriend."

"Maybe its time to change that," Anna said with a smal smile and walked upstairs, leaving me in the kitchen by myself to think.

Should I ask him?

No its too early.

But I reeeally really like him.

But he seems to really like you. So whats the need to rush?

But what if I wait too long and he losses interest.

What if I dont wait long enough and he thinks im moving too fast.

This is so confusing....

Ill ask Gabe.

I stood up and quickly went up the stairs and knocked on Gabe's door. "Who goes there?"

I rolled my eyes. "Its me, Luc."

"Oh. Come in!" He was sitting in the chair at his desk with his feet on his desk. "How may I be at your service?"

"I need help with something. On a serious note."

He took his feet off his desk and leaned forward, more serious. "Is it about Michael?" I nodded. "Well what do you need help with?"

I went over to sit on his bed. "When would be the right time to ask him to be my boyfriend?" I blurted out.

Gabe's eyes widened. "Holy crap youre serious," he paused to think. "Well you dont want to wait too long because then he just might think you lost interest. But then you dont want to ask him too early because, like you said, you wanna take things slow. You've already had your first date. Does the dance next week count as a second date?"

"Hm. Yeah I think so."

"Okay well if you get to the point, id say ask him after the third date. Or you could ask him between the second and third date. Like do something cheesy and romantic to surprise him at school or something."

I smiled and thought of a great idea. "Do you think a certain Trickster would mind helping out with that."

He grinned. "I think he'd be up for it."

"Thank you so much Gabriel! I owe you," I said walking out of his room.

"You bet your ass you do!" He yelled back.

A/N: Ok so I thought if just write something short and sweet. What do you guys think of it? Stupid? Pointless? Wish it was longer? Who am I kidding? I think everyone who reads a fanfic wishes every chapter they read is longer. But anyways im looking forward to writing the dance :D but I think the next chapter might be a bit of Sabriel.
