The Winchesters drove and drove not stopping until they reached a car scrap yard. This wasn't any old place however. A man named Bobby Singer lived here and he was like a father to Dean and Sam.

As they tore down the highways and back roads, Dean looked back every other minute to check on Rachel. She was unconscious in the back seat of the Impala, still bleeding heavily with uneven breath.

As they screeched to a stop at the front steps of Bobby's house, he came outside. Bobby was an older man and one of the most brilliant hunters alive. He wore old ball caps and drank at least a beer a day, but this never made a difference to the Winchesters. Bobby had pulled them out of the fire for most of their lives and the boys hoped this would be one of those time.

Bobby's eyes grew wide as Dean picked up Rachel out of the backseat. Her body hanging limply in his arms they rushed into the house. An odd but knowing silence laid heavily on their shoulders. The boys had to explain who Rachel was and when Dean told him that she was his daughter; Bobby stood dumbfounded. He asked a lot of questions and the Winchesters answered the best they could.

Dean looked into the front room making sure she was still breathing.

"Hold on a minute guys," he said and quickly went outside. Walking a few yards away, Dean got down on his knees and prayed out to Cas. At first there was nothing, Dean slowly stood up and turned to find Cas right in front of him.

"I have not found Rachel," Castiel told Dean solemnly, "Why did you call me here?"

"We found her Cas, and we need you to heal her." Dean replied. The two of them walked into the house, Dean leading him to Rachel. Cas seemed unable to register where Rachel was in the room, as if she were invisible to him.

"Where is she Dean?" Cas asked.

"What do you mean Cas, she's right in front of you." Castiel looked at the spot were Dean was pointing and shook his head.

"Check her body," he ordered, "Does she have any tattoos or carvings in her skin?" Dean lifted the unconscious girl into a sitting position and checked. He face grew dark as he saw the gruesome carving that was on his daughter's chest, just under her collar bone.

Dean looked up at Cas, "She has a carving on her chest above her heart," he said to the angel.

Castiel frowned, "It's an invisibility symbol to ward off angels. It hides whatever it's carved into from our senses and is most likely why I couldn't find her before. You must burn the symbol Dean."

"WHAT?" Dean exclaimed, "I'm not going to burn Rachel!"

"Dean, if you don't do it I won't be able to heal her and she will die." stated Cas calmly. Dean looked from Castiel to Sam to Bobby then down at Rachel. His emotions conflicted on whether to do it himself or have one of the other to do it. He furrowed his eyebrows and turned to Bobby.

"Do you have a lighter...?" he asked. Bobby nodded and headed into the kitchen. Returning quickly he handed Dean the lighter. Taking it slowly from Bobby's hand Dean lit it. "I'm sorry..." he whispered to Rachel. He pressed the lighter to her skin. Rachel went rigid with pain and moaned, tears running down her face. The smell of burning skin filled the room and Dean felt his own tears sting his eyes.

"I can see her now," said Cas as soon as Rachel came into his vision. Dean closed the lighter and laid Rachel back down ,quickly leaving the room. Castiel placed his hand on Rachel's forehead and in a second every scratch, cut and broken bone was healed, the only thing left was a small burn mark where the carving had been. Rachel's breathing started to become regular and her face relaxed, no longer in pain.

"Thanks Cas," said Dean when they entered the kitchen. He took a drink of his beer, "Will she be okay?" Castiel nodded.

"She is healed and will be fine, but traumatized. You both know how that type of torture can affect someone." Both Sam and Dean nodded remembering what each of them had been through.  A sound came from the doorway of the kitchen, the four men standing inside turned around to see Rachel leaning against the door frame for support.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I felt like I had been in a haze for eternity. Half between death and life, but not yet a ghost. I was hot and cold all at once and alone but surrounded at the same time. As I sat in the darkness that surrounded me I heard a faint whisper say "I'm sorry" and I felt a burning sensation on my chest. I cried out in pain, maybe I was still with Lily...No that couldn't be, I saw Dean and Sam! I cried again as the sensation grew stronger. I looked down at the symbol carved into my chest and saw it burning. Then it stopped and I felt a peacefulness wash over me. I suddenly didn't hurt. Was I dying? Distantly I heard voices.

Slowly, ever so slowly, I opened my eyes, the brightness of the sun burning them at first. I groggily looked around. I was in a house unfamiliar to me, I saw things pinned to the walls and a devil trap on the ceiling. Hunters? Then I heard the voices again and I recognized them! I looked down at myself and saw that everything was gone. Every single injury was gone! Ghost pains still hung around where my major wounds had been.

Shakily I stood up, my legs weren't very stable under me but I managed to walk. I drew near the voices. I moved towards the doorway and had to lean against it for a minute to let my legs catch up. Inside the room was Cas, Dean, and Sam plus an older man. They noticed me after a minute and stopped their conversation. I walked timidly into the room, their eyes following me as I walked towards Dean, my dad. I stopped in front of him.

Then I hugged him. I wrapped my arms around my dad and hugged him. My top of my head  barely reaching his chin. I cried into him and I felt him wrap his arms around me, resting his chin on my head. I felt his chest tighten as he was trying not to cry himself, but that was okay. I looked up at my dad and the look we shared said everything I wanted to say but couldn't put to words. He let me go and I walked over to Sam.

I hugged him to and then I hugged Cas, which was funny but nice and I even hugged the old man that I didn't know, because I knew he had helped in more ways than I would ever realize. After the hugging and thanking I had only one thing left to say.

"Guys? Can we go get a burger. I'm starving."  and with all of us in agreement we climbed into the Impala and got the best tasting burger I had ever ate in my life.
